I bought this before we went on vacation in the sun as I am a bit thin on the top and fair skinned. I typically am not a fan of hats as I find them hot but that was not the case with this one because of the vents on the sides. The wide brim kept the sun off my ears and the back of my neck which baseball caps do not do. Also loved being able to put my ponytail through the hole in the back instead of having to bunch my hair inside the hat. Great outdoor hat.

I needed a hat to keep the sun off of my face being in the pool so much in the summer and this keeps it shaded great!

The way it was folded makes a fold end up right in front and it looks a bit funny. I’ll try to dampen it and see if I can get the folds to calm down.Installation/setup: Place on head, feeding your hair out of the hole in the back. Adjust the strap if needed. Then adjust to fit, tying the strings under your chin to keep it on if it’s windy.Final thoughts: I got the folds out of the hat. Be careful how you fold it in the future, plan for folds. The hat fits my big head lol. I don’t usually wear hats, my hair is really fine and slippery so hats don’t usually stay on. The string tie helps a lot. I have very long hair and having the hole in the back for a ponytail is just awesome, getting the hair off the back of my neck is a must in the hotter weather. I got a rough spot on my forehead last year and my dermatologist had to give me some chemo cream to get rid of it. They suggested I wear sunscreen and a hat to keep it from returning. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Sides of top are made of mesh to let out heat.Folds for carrying.Light weight.

Fits great and has a nice circumstance. I'd like to think I have an average sized head and i could still fit the hat over chuncky cornrows, so it's a little stretchy.

The hole itself is not very deep. Doesn't fit correctly on my head, maybe my head is small idk. I'll still use it while pressure washing.

This is the perfect beach hat! It gives great protection from the sun and looks adorable at the same time. The tie helps keep it on while jumping the ocean waves. Mine got dumped with salt water over and over and it held up. I would buy it again!!

Wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but it is perfect. I have one from a much more expensive outdoors company that is very well made, however this one has mesh for ventilation, an adjustable headband and the "ponytail zone" to get hair off the neck. New favourite garden and paddleboarding hat. I might have to buy one in another colour.

This looked much better on the model than it did on me. Just didn't suite me. It might suite you though.
