Bloc Loc Brand Half Square Acrylic Triangle Ruler, 4.5x4.5 Inches - Quilting Ruler for Sewing and Crafting Projects

Sick and tired of squaring up half square triangles? This is the perfect solution to this problem. Once I got the hang of it I don't worry about wonky triangles anymore!

The quilt that I am currently working on has 160 half-square triangles that must be squared up to 4-1/2 inches. This triangle ruler makes the process so much easier (faster!) and accurate.How it works: There is a little trough cut out diagonally down the center back of the ruler. Once you have your 1/2 square block ironed with the seam to one side, place the ruler on top of the block with the trough on the seam. That trough causes the ruler to lie perfectly flat on the block and "lock" into place. Unlike flat rulers, the Bloc Loc doesn't rock from side to side or slide around on the block. You can then slide the ruler up and down the seam to perfectly square up your block. If you make a lot of projects using 1/2 square triangles this is a time-saving tool.I have other tools that I've purchased that I could have saved my money on because I just don't use them that much or they do not perform as advertised. Not this one. I make a lot of 1/2 square triangles using the fast 8 method and this Bloc Loc will be used over and over again.Another helpful tool is a rotating cutting mat.
