Man of Steel: Inside the Legendary World of Superman

Brilliant book, for an incredible movie. Way ahead of its time and the dedication in the attention to detail for the movie and it’s own self contained history is inspiringly evident throughout this book! A must have for superman fans, movie fans, and anyone that loves art and aesthetics. 5✭ !!!

I'm a little surprised to find some rather negative reviews of this book here; I wasn't particularly bowled-over by the movie, in fact this book is much more impressive than the film itself, given that it highlights the concept and character design which was much more impressive than the screenplay. This is a nicely presented volume in full-colour throughout with a good mixture of digital design work, from costumes, creatures, sets and scenes to film-stills of the final ideas. It`s every bit as good as any other “Art of” film book I have and it certainly makes a good and useful companion volume to the movie – it will appeal to anyone with an interest in film or cinematic art and design. Do use the “Look inside” option at the top of the page.

Its content is fine. Interesting information available. The logo on the front cover is embossed on the outside. It looks stylish and nice.

personally im more of a comic person, but this book showed me a different side superman's life, the designs are very detailed and there's a lot of new things. The book also gives detailed concept art for locations and characters.

75 years ago this superhero was born and he is still as new today as he was then ...the graphics are amazing and the story captivates the reader. Zach Snyder did an excellent job and he chose the perfect actor to play the part xXx

This is a super fun book to read, especially if you're a fan of "Man of Steel". It goes in depth on every little detail of the world of Krypton they created for the movie and it's very interesting!

As aSuperman fan I was wondering how the new Superman would ever meet the heights of the old master. But I was very pleasantly surprised , it was clever it is developing story and the new Superman did not disappoint at all! Can't wait for the next one.

Aprobado con sobresaliente de 5 estrellas para este libro con numerosos detalles de la realización de Man of Steel. Lo que +: La portada imita la testura del traje del kryptoniano y la "S" es en relieve. Ya en su contenido viene bastante información del rodaje de la pelicula. Lo que -: Nada en general. El producto vino bien protegido. Recomendaria este comic a los fans del comic en general y, en especial, a los fans del Último hijo de Krypton.

Grandissima pubblicazione sul film che rilancia da zero la saga di Superman! Prezzo abbastanza buono per un testo pieno di bellissimi disegni ispirati agli eventi della pellicola. Si trovano anche foto di scena poste in comparazione con i suddetti disegni, per far rendere conto al lettore di come un'idea sia divenuta realtà nella realizzazione del film. Ci sono anche didascalie abbastanza fruibili (solo in inglese però!) sul cast e sui punti chiave della storia. Assolutamente da urlo la copertina, con lo stemma della casata di El in rilievo e con la riproduzione perfetta sin nei minimi dettagli del tessuto delle tute kryptoniane! Sbalorditiva! Lo consiglio a tutti gli appassionati di Superman e de L'uomo d'acciaio!
