Works great
I recently purchased a refurbished Kindle Paperwhite, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and value. The device arrived in excellent condition, looking almost brand new, with no visible scratches or blemishes. The Kindle Paperwhite's display is crisp and clear, making reading a pleasure, even in bright sunlight or low-light conditions. The built-in adjustable light is a fantastic feature, allowing me to read comfortably at any time of day. The touch screen is responsive, and navigating through my library and settings is seamless.Battery life is another highlight. A single charge lasts for weeks, which is perfect for someone who reads daily. The storage capacity is more than sufficient, holding thousands of books, and the integration with Amazon's Kindle Store is convenient for accessing a vast selection of titles. One of my initial concerns was the performance of a refurbished device, but it has proven to be just as reliable as a new one. The setup process was straightforward, and I experienced no issues with connectivity or functionality. Plus, the cost savings of buying refurbished made this purchase an excellent deal.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my refurbished Kindle Paperwhite. It offers all the features and performance of a new device at a fraction of the cost. If you're considering an e-reader, a refurbished Kindle Paperwhite is a smart, budget-friendly choice that doesn't compromise on quality. Highly recommended!

Great device
I’ve stored HUNDREDS of books on this device, and it still has over 23 gb left to fill, It’s my new best friend. I’ve only needed to charge it once since getting it. One hundred percent user friendly and I recommend using the Collection option to put series together, authors, or just books you’d read over and over again. Perfect to read for 5 minutes between customers at work or several hours after you’re off, (this is a judgement free zone) this kindle is perfect for everyone wanting a little break from the day. Happy reading!

If You Like E-readers, the Original E-reader May Be Worth the Investment
I prefer hard-cover books, but I purchased a Kindle to learn if it is a good alternative to a real book. While I am still learning how to use my Kindle, here are my initial reactions after using my Kindle for less than 2 months and still learning how to use it.What I like:1. The Investment in a Kindle notwithstanding, I like that I can purchase and store many of my favorite books for access anywhere at an affordable cost.2. I like that I can highlight passages of importance to me without using flags and permanently marking my books.3. I really like that I can add notes without permanently marking my books. What I Don't Like:1. I don't like that there aren't better instructions on how to use the device and I had to figure out how to use it by trial and error.2. I don't like the delay that exists between when I touch the screen to perform an operation and the operation completes.3. I don't like that there isn't a good built-in stand or after-market holders to facilitate holding my Kindle securely while I'm sitting down or lying in bed and trying to read.4. I don't like the lack of compatibility between an after-market protective cover or case on my Kindle and the after-market holders that let me hold my Kindle in one hand and perform operations with the other.5. I don't like that there isn't a sense of how much time is left to complete reading the book or a chapter except for the occasional pages left to go and time left to go that pops up.6. I don't like that I can't call up the "time to go" whenever I want and have to rely on the Kindle to decide when I need that information.7. I don't like the absence of contrast on my monochrome "paper white" Kindle. Actually, the term is a misnomer and the appearance of the screen is more of a grey-looking white with a lack of contrast between the black text and the background greyish white background.8. I don't like the absence of color. The monochrome text, text-shading, and images are very boring and unattractive.Enough! I am still trying to like this alternative to real hard-cover books and will continue to read the several books I have downloaded to my Kindle. However, the pleasure of having a real book in my hands and on the shelves of my library is going to be very difficult to overcome. My refurbished "paper-white" Kindle is my investment in trying to address my partners concern that I should "down-size" and already have too many books and don't need to purchase any more...while I staunchly refuse to down-size my mind. My Kindle may be a good investment, but I'm still trying to learn to love it...with an open mind.

Not bad for refurbished
I got this one since I liked the color better than the newest model. You can’t even tell that it’s not new. Love how small and light it is. The one big difference between this model and the version 12 is that this one is slower which is not that big of a deal for me.

FAVORITE BUY OF THE YEAR
I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. It arrived in perfect condition and the price was an unmistakable bargain. There was a bit of a glitch in the beginning where the ads were still there, but that was an easy fix - chat support. It's my first Kindle and I honestly can't say how much of a convenience the auto brightness and warmth is. I've heard so many Youtubers say that it's not "worth" the extra $50 or so, and maybe I would feel differently if I did pay full price, but honestly, it makes reading sooo much easier - any time of day in any level of lighting.I'll definitely be buying certified refurbished in the future. Also the wireless charging works perfectly.
