Great for convenient Korean BBQ or food prep at home...
This product is extremely easy to use and really easy to clean up. Be extremely careful as the blade is exceptionally sharp. Some things that may be helpful. When you assemble the food tray/guide, be sure to make sure it's not too far to the right (near the blade). I made the mistake of having it too far to the right and nicked it with the blade. I adjusted it back to the left a little to ensure the blade clears it and I haven't had any issues since. Make sure you hard freeze your meat overnight. I've used this to thin slice/shave rib-eye steak for bul-gogi, thick and thin slice pork belly as well as thin slice brisket. As long as your meat is hard frozen (over night or longer, as the instructions recommend 48 hours), this slicer will shave/slice the meat paper thin. Setting the blade is fairly easy. I generally just eye-ball it, make a slice or two and adjust if my slices aren't the desired thickness or if the cut is uneven. It adjusts fairly quickly, so not much worry there. The blade guard is pretty solid and it's really hard to cut yourself if careful and are operating it safely. You'd really have to have a finger up in there to cut it and the guard is such that even then, you'd probably only get the tip of your finger as gross/large cuts are blocked by the guard arm. Always use the feeder tray properly and keep your fingers away from the cutting edge. Did I mention this blade (and replacement blade) are extremely sharp?! Clean up is easy and fast. Hot soapy sponge, wipe it down and spray it off in the sink. Just be careful as the blade is extremely sharp and will easily slice through a sponge or careless finger. The only negative aspect of this item would be the feeder tray as I would like the action to be a little smoother, but again, that might just be nit-picky. and it might break-in over time. All-in-all, I found this to be a great value. I now buy meat in bulk from the local grocer and Asian market, so that whenever I want a quick meal, I can put some on the slicer, serve up some steamed rice and ban-chan and be grilling within a few minutes.

Good slicer, needs flat surface that is below waistline to be safest while using it.
Update; Ended up returning, even with a change surface and making sure the suction cups were on a flat surface it slides all over and I decided would be too dangerous for me, it does cut really well though and maybe if I had a different flat surface it would stay in place better but alas I don't. I think quality rubber feet would've worked better for my countertop. This meat slicer works but definitely can give your a bit of a work out. I ended up changing the way I had the meat in the cradle a couple times until I found the easiest way to slice it and once I found that it was a huge difference in the amount of effort it takes. I also recommend slicing on a surface that is somewhat before easiest level so you have better leverage, I slice on a counter that was a little over my waist height and the slicer was actually shifting on my counter as I used it which could be dangerous, I also have tile countertop and I don't think all the suction cups had a flat surface to stick on (the grout was in the way). The blade is really sharp and the meat chute was easy enough to attach to the plate on the slicer. It took me just a few minutes to slice a frozen solid brisket into pieces to marinate before turning into jerky. I really like it so far, cleaning it was not the easiest, I chose to wipe it down with a soapy sponge then a clean sponge and dried with a paper towel since taking it apart seemed more effort than I was feeling like putting into it, LOL. I do recommend this product, really going to up my jerky game now that I don't have to buy pre sliced meat from Costco. I love that I get to choose the cut of meat I want thin sliced. This meat slicer is lightweight, material seems sturdy enough to last, it did come scratched up a little bit I don't think it affects the ability to do it's job.

Works like a charm.
Use it for making beef jerky and Korean hot pot. You can adjust the size you want and it's lightweight but with some hefty for cutting. If you're looking for a good slicer with a decent price, this is it.

Super easy! Super sharp!
This slicer works so well for beef jerky! Every cut is the same so every piece is uniform making the dehydrating process easier! The knife is crazy sharp we cut 60lbs of top round and it's still just as sharp. Clean up is a breeze!

Cuts very well but is a pain to clean
This is my first such device, so I have nothing to compare it to. First, it cuts very well. We used frozen brisket, which I cut into smaller pieces before freezing. The overall cutting and operating experience was excellent. Cleaning is another issue. The blade does not sit flush, so the meat got into the small space between the blade and handle. I had to take apart everything for cleaning. The parts holding components together are not finger friendly. The two nuts holding the feeder table to the bottom are difficult to install. It would have been better if they were more of a knob shape, allowing a better grip. I had to disassemble the feeder as some meat got onto the spring. While taking the feeder apart required no tools, the nuts holding the feeder in place were too small for my hands. It was a struggle to put them back on. The blade had to come out because the meet got between the handle and the blade. The two bolts holding the knife in place must have been installed with a power tool set to max. The Allen wrench provided did nothing to dislodge the blades. After several attempts, I stripped the Allen wrench without any impact on the nut. Ultimately, I used a power screwdriver set on max while applying additional pressure with my hands to turn the bolt. Way too tight. The blade is exceptionally sharp, so I cut my finger while trying to remove it. There was blood. After washing all the parts, I applied a little oil to the pieces to avoid them getting stuck too tightly again. Some folks complained that all parts are not made of stainless steel. I will check tomorrow to look for any rust. Improvements I would like to see: All stainless steel parts, no rust Finger-friendly components that do not require having power tools and Allen wrenches on hand to disassemble. The whole cleaning process took a little time. So, the product works great but requires significant cleaning investment. If you plan to buy this, keep extra tools nearby in the kitchen. I am likely to return this device and continue looking for other options.

Great meat slicer
This meat slicer is great! I’ve used it multiple times and feels like brand new slicer, very sharp and easy to use, just pay attention when using since the blade is very sharp. Love this meat slicer.

Do not buy unless you have great health insurance
Zero consistency in thickness of slices. VERY sharp edges all through the construction. Waited too long to use it or it DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED. In my opinion, its dangerous to the unaware, unskilled cooks. Needs better design and definite deburring of all edges. Good idea, poor execution=Chinese made crap again.

Handy as they come
I make dehydrated dogs treats and this has made things much faster for me. Does a good job on both muscle meats and organs, as long as they are sufficiently par-frozen. Your fattier meats will be more difficult to fully slice through, even when frozen correctly. Easy to clean. I use one of those long-handled dish brushes for it because I gave myself a nasty cut by accident when I used a handheld sponge, so be careful of the blade. Easy to customize. This can give you truly paper-thin strips if you want. I want more thickness so I reversed the guide handle. The included manual tells you how to adjust the thickness of the slice and it is very easy to do. Weak spots include the suction cups and the height. The suction cups at the feet don't seem to work on any surface in my kitchen (barring the sink basin while I'm trying to clean it, lol :) ) so I am never able to get a very secure base. I've not ran into trouble with it because i am VERY careful about it, BUT you can understand that a super-sharp guillotine blade that slides around a little during cutting is not ideal. Probably not an issue that everyone will encounter, depending on the material of your countertops. The height is a personal problem as well, as sometimes I have issues with the guillotine handle hitting the collection vessel I place underneath it, which makes the cut less complete. Minor issue, though. Overall a good buy.

It does the work! So it is (has to be) SHARP
Thanks to all the guys whingeing that this device is so horribly sharp, that they had to write "blade" onto the blade 🤦♀️..... it gave me hope that this device actually might be sharp enough to fulfill its purpose! I got it today! Ripped it out of its package (no idea how it's possible to scratch your hands doing so) assembled it and got to work. Admittedly adjusting the blade to cut the desired thickness took a while (I wasn't after tissue paper thin) but it cuts a treat! How someone manages to get fingers past the cutting guard to the blade is also pretty beyond me, surely its common sense to keep your fingers from the cutting edge? I highly recommend this device!

I am impressed with product quality and usefulness
My wife is a big fan of hotpots. As much as I like the convenience, buying sliced meat from supermarket can get pricey so we decided to buy a meat slicer ourselves not only to get better quality meat but also save money in the long run. There are several features I like about Befen slicer. The first impression I got after opening the box is that all machine parts are well built. This is a pleasant surprise considering the price as there are certainly other more expensive , well-known models in the market. The slicer has adequate weight, heavy enough to help keep the machine in place during slicing yet it does not break your arms to move it around the kitchen. Having two spare suction cups included in a plus. The slicer is up and running in about 10 minutes after I installed the few remaining parts. Be warned that the blade is really sharp but it does make slicing meat very easy. I feel in control during the slicing process. Cleaning is just as easy as all I need is soap and water. I defrosted the meat slightly before slicing to get uniformed meat slices in no time. I don't think I will buy sliced meat from store again. This slicer saves time and money.

Does a great job!
I absolutely love your meat slicer. I’ve had 4 big rashers of bacon in my freezer since Feb. I sawed off a piece last night and sliced it with your slicer and my wife and I enjoyed bacon for breakfast. Cleanup was easy and quick. Your design is simple, elegant and sturdy. I told my wife I haven’t been as happy with a purchase as I was with yours in a very long time. Congratulations to your designer and production people. Excellent product!
