OXO Good Grips POP Container, Big Square Short 2.6 L

These containers are a bit pricier than others but they are brilliant and so easy to use so worth the money. Love the shape as they are easily organised in the cupboard. The various sizes are fab. The lids are the best thing about them, so easy to use - just a push to open or close. Highly recommend.

I brought some cheap brand with me and I should not have but I did not have enough time to get oxo .cheap brand didn’t survive air travel and as soon as I came to uk, I bought oxo. The best quality and it keeps the product fresh.

These are very good. I now own four to store my different types of rice in. Being 2.6 litres means it can hold a large amount of rice or other dry goods in. Plus the opening is big enough to be able to easily scoop out the contents without having to tip them and make a mess. The lid fits snugly and I have had no problems with these sealing. I would not say these are not designed for long term storage needs but works great for temporary or short term use such for dry food items you use daily etc. These containers look good too. I have these in my kitchen cupboard so when I open the cupboard door I can clearly see the different types of rice grain and colour on display. So I would definitely recommend these.

Excellent product, just don't get water in the top button when washing as it's hard to get out. Seals in my cat's smelly sea food kibble 100%. You can always rely on OXO to make products that work.

I was struggling to work out the right size for me, and upon reading other reviews, went for the 2.6L and the 4.2L boxes. The OXO 2.6L is perfect storage for a 1.5kg bag of flour, as shown in the picture. The 4.2L seems way too big, as I’m only really wanting to decant one bag of dry goods at a time into it. Might be perfect if you have a bigger pantry! They’re on the more expensive side, but seem to work well so far at keeping moisture out (although I haven’t had them for very long yet). I only wish there was somewhere to easily label what was in the box, but I will just write on a piece of paper and tape it on. Pleased so far!

Arrived in perfect condition, well packaged with no breakages (unlike some other reviews mentioned). I purchased this to store my protein powders, and it works really well. The airtight seal keeps everything fresh, and the push-button lid removal is a clever and fun feature. All three containers stack neatly and seem to be modular with others in the range. The 2.6L size fits about 1kg of protein powder comfortably, along with the scoop and some silica gel packs. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable storage!

Bought several of these to organise my cupboards, like that they can be stacked. Clear so you can see whats in them and oxo is such a good brand. Products are made really well.

Ich habe in dieser Dose meine Geschirrspüler, Tabs . Hatte immer das Problem, dass der Geruch bei offenen Packungen stört. Und jetzt ist alles super dicht verschlossen. Und die Tabs sind sehr leicht entnehmbar.

Il contenitore/barattolo di OXO GOOD GRIPS é un prodotto molto valido. Nello specifico, ho acquistato quello quadrato da 2,6 Lt (che equivale a 2,8 quarti nella misura americana), i materiali sono molto buoni, la plastica é robusta, il coperchio/tappo (a chiusura ermetica a pressione) consente di conservare per alcuni giorni il cibo all'interno mantenendolo fragrante e croccante come appena fatto o tolto dalla confezione (es. biscotti o crackers). Utilizzo questo barattolo principalmente per i biscotti, crackers, taralli, ma ovviamente anche per cereali, legumi, riso, farine, ecc... Per dare un'idea della sua capienza, ci stanno circa 2 kg di riso, oppure 1/1,5 kg di biscotti (ma attenzione, dipende da quanto sono grandi i biscotti ovviamente!!!). Il tappo é comodissimo e praticissimo: schiacciando verso il basso il pulsante grande posto sul tappo, la guarnizione in silicone del tappo si allarga leggermente chiudendo ermeticamente e perfettamente il barattolo; premendo nuovamente il pulsante grande, la guarnizione si allenta e si apre il barattolo. Sulle istruzioni c'é scritto che é lavabile in lavastoviglie, ma è meglio lavarlo a mano in quanto nel tempo la plastica si opacizza e la guarnizione in silicone perde le sue proprietá elastiche di tenuta stagna. All’interno del barattolo c’è un opuscolo con le istruzioni (di cui allego le foto) su come pulire eventualmente anche il coperchio/tappo; in ogni caso è sufficiente staccare (NON girare) aiutandosi con l’unghia del dito la parte interna del coperchio (che è un quadrato piatto rigido di plastica) e poi staccare la guarnizione in silicone partendo da un angolo. Attenzione poi a quando si rimonta perché deve essere infilata molto bene nel bordo interno del coperchio altrimenti la guarnizione non chiuderá in modo ermetico! DIMENSIONI : altezza 16 cm (coperchio incluso); essendo leggermente svasato, la larghezza varia da 16 cm (in corrispondenza del coperchio) a 14 cm (alla base). La parte in altezza realmente sfruttabile per contenere il cibo è di circa 13,5 cm in quanto, ovviamente, parte del coperchio entra all’interno per poter chiudere ermeticamente. MATERIALI : plastica (BPA free) e silicone DOVE VIENE PRODOTTO : Made in China OPINIONI PERSONALI/CONSIGLI : I contenitori a chiusura ermetica di OXO GOOD GRIPS sono abbastanza cari ma la loro qualitá nonché validitá, a distanza di anni, di questi accessori da cucina ammortizzano di gran lunga la spesa iniziale sostenuta. Li trovo efficaci ed utili perché, non solo proteggono gli alimenti dall’umiditá, ma anche dall’ “incursione” di eventuali animaletti. Ne ho diversi e di diverse misure/forme; alcuni di essi addirittura li utilizzo tutti i giorni da alcuni anni e tutti, comunque, sono come nuovi ed ancora validissimi come tenuta ermetica. Se si ha l’accortezza di lavarli sempre a mano e MAI IN LAVOSTIGLIE, dureranno davvero degli anni.

Muy buen bote de cocina, lo he vuelto a comprar para completar los que ya tenía, he repetido por la calidad y buen precio, desde hace unos años tengo estos botes de Oxo, muy versátiles para todo tipo de productos, prácticos para cogerlos y fácil visualización del contenido. Estupendos y totalmente recomendables.
