Excellence in Customer Service.
Excellence in Customer Service! .... In May of 2023 I purchased this Air Purifier and one month later I purchased a 2nd for my 2nd floor as I was very pleased with how well the unit did it's job. I was faithful with cleaning and filter changes. Recently the first one I bought began to make a strange noise and it would constantly indicate "Red" meaning bad air quality. This prompted correspondence with via email with the company as the units have a LifeTime Warranty. Within one day, I received a response apologizing for the issue and a request for quick video. I did as requested, and a day later was asked for my order number from Amazon which I supplied and then was next informed that a free replacement is shipped and on it's way to me.This company is a model for how all companies should treat their customers. Cathy (The person who emailed from the company) immediately returned my email, and promptly corrected the issue. I encourage everyone looking at this unit to be comfortable knowing that not only are you getting a great unit but a further piece of mind that the company stands behind their products. Thank you Dayette and Cathy for such great customer service and a great Product!

Air has no more particles floating around.
We hot this air purifier 3 weeks ago. We are very pleased with this purifier. The air quality has certainly changed. When light is shining through a room there are absolutely no particles floating through the air. We have 2 golden retrievers and the hair in the air is gone. I love that the smoke from cooking is cleared up in minutes, odors gone, breathing is much better. Very pleased with this item.

Great item for the price
We live in the country(dirt roads) and heat with a wood stove. Needless to say there is a lot of dust in our home. This purifier easy clears the air in no time!

Delighted With This Air Purifier
After much research and comparison of different brands and models of air purifiers and taking costs into account, I decided on the Dayette H14. We have a cigarette smoker and a pipe smoker in our house and no vented range hood in the kitchen, so something to deal with indoor air quality was very important. The setup of this unit could not have been any easier. Actually, my wife, who is not technically inclined at all, set it up. The setup involved opening up the unit to take out the power cord and owner's manual, closing the unit back up, plugging it into an A/C outlet and pressing the ON button. By default, the unit starts in Auto mode and sets the fan speed at the appropriate level for what it senses in the air. The front panel shows a number representing the quantity of airborne particles and a color code bar indicating the air quality with BLUE = Very Good, GREEN = Good, YELLOW = Moderate, and RED = Polluted. After cooking and smoking the color indicator rose up to the Moderate level and within less than a half hour it was down to the Good level and after another 30 minutes it was back into the Blue. Since we got this machine, there has been no cigarette or pipe smoke smell in the house. The air is fresh and crisp. I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner. To say, I'm very pleased would be an understatement. I highly recommend it. It was a great investment and I hope it last many years.

It works but do something about the buttons
Love it love it it appears to detect air quality changes that I definitely can smell. I replaced the filter and it was physically filled with debris. The vents on the outside should be cleaned routinely if you see buildup make sure to use a hot wet rag turn off the machine and removed access with hand vac if you can. If there is an issue its resetting the device once the HEPA filter light flashes.. Directly connect the device to a wall outlet without using an extension cord or surge protector... YES I KNOW.. The turn the device on using the REMOTE... YES I KNOW STAY WITH ME. Then press the HEPA button until you hear several beeps my device appears to have reset by restarting. I found this information by reading another brands troubleshooting. Send email to mfr Dayette without a response as of yet also didn't see information on their website. The device response better to the remote than by finger pressing. To make sure you don't lose the remote velcro it to the device. My filter appears to need a replacement every 5 months so I have it on reorder. It's also worth buying the Dayette filter for the lifetime warranty I fill the push button won't work eventually since it's barely working now. I recommend this device it's currently in my Livingroom area
