I tried it on the carpets and sofa. My sofa is dark colored, and the product leaves white stains after applying it, no matter how long I vacuum. I tried it only once, and won't anymore. Also, the smell is unpleasant for me, it reminds me of cheap man's cologne. I tried these kinds of powder from different brands and know it isn't supposed to leave stains.
