Very good shorts for the price. Will buy them again.
Bought these shorts for $38 and am very happy with them. Very good quality materials and construction. But the fit and ride experience is what I am most happy about. I am male, 6 foot and weigh 168 pounds with a 35" waist. I ride a road bike. I bought a large on the recommendation of several reviewers who said that they are sized a bit small and they fit perfectly. Even a good fit on my thin thighs. I was a bit skeptical of the individually formed pads but was delighted at the comfort they provided. My first few rides of the season usually involve some soreness, but I experienced none with these shorts. I can no longer bike all day or do centuries, but on the few one-hour rides that I have done so far, they are quite comfortable. Will definitely buy them again.

Amazing deal on cycling shorts. Excellent quality and amazing pricing!
I am thrilled with the quality and pricing of these bike shorts. I bought 2 different pairs, these cost about $36. I was looking online for bike shorts and found the higher priced brands start at $65 for their basic budget shorts. These are of excellent quality, the fit is perfect for me, I got a Medium size, weigh about 133 lbs, waist is 32 in , hips 35 inch and they fit perfect, look and feel good. Nice colors, durable material, the padding is very nice cushy and feels good on my road bike. the padding is not excessive and it feels just right. the comfort is much better than my old Aero tech shorts which cost a lot more. These shorts are the ones in the middle of of my picture, the aerotech shorts on the right. the ones on the left I also bought on amazon, another brand for a bit less $.

Reasonable quality for price
Padding is good and stays in place. Waist band is reasonably comfortable, does not roll. Compression is not as "firm" as I prefer. Good for short-medium rides, probably not effective for longervrides. I bought two pair, and I opted to keep them. Decent shorts for the price, but next time I will pay the extra for 8 panel shorts with more compression.

Exceptional Comfort and Durability – Ideal for Avid Cyclists
As a cycle instructor at 24 Hour Fitness, I engage in cycling sessions four or more times a week, demanding high-performance gear. The Sponeed Men's Cycling Shorts have proven to be the most comfortable and durable option I've encountered. The 4D gel padding provides excellent cushioning, ensuring comfort during extended rides. The moisture-wicking fabric keeps me dry, and the breathable material prevents overheating. The elastic waistband and silicone anti-slip bands at the thighs ensure a secure fit without discomfort. The vibrant color options add a stylish touch, and the quality of the material is evident. After more than a year of rigorous use, my initial pairs have only just begun to show signs of wear, which speaks volumes about their durability. I frequently recommend these shorts to participants in my cycling classes, confident in their value and performance. For the price, they offer exceptional quality and comfort.

Best of the "3 popular Amazon" cycling shorts
Overall these are the best cycling shorts out of the 3 pairs that seem to be the most popular on Amazon (Sponeed, Santic, Pearl izumi). You get really good quality of materials and craftsmanship for the price. Compared to the other 2, it's closest in quality to the Pearl but for less cost. The padding is super nice and comfortable, although it's "4D" and has more padding in certain areas, although if your form is good and you're using your sit bones its not an issue (Pearl is one big pad that's not a thick but you don't have to worry as much about you positioning). These were my only pair for about 3 weeks so the got washed just about every day and are still holding up great. You probably want to order a size down, of if you're on the cusp of two go for the smaller. I'm 5'10" 175 with a 32/34 waist and the L fit perfect and the XL were way to big. The best way to compare the 3 shorts is like cars. The Pearl is the top end luxury model - really nice but more expensive. Sponeed is still the luxury model but just one under the top end - still really nice but minor trade offs for reduced price. Santic is the mid range model - nice and reliable but for a little bit more you get something a lot better. All three are still great and comfortable to use, but overall for pricing, quality, and comfort Sponeed takes the top spot for me. Pros - Price - Lots of padding - Quality materials - Quality craftsmanship - Color selection Cons - Most of the padding is in certain spots - High waisted - Sizing is a little weird

Cyclists Essential Gear
I like these cycling shorts because they offer a good value and comfort for casual and moderate distance rides. The padding is great, the fabric is decent, and the performance features are helpful. The fabric is breathable and moisture wicking, keeping me cool and dry even on hot days. The four way stretch of the material really is nice because it allows for unrestricted movements. This is very crucial in cycling especially for those intense climbs. The shorts come equipped with 4D gel padding. This is super helpful when cycling. It is thick enough to absorb those hard bumps but without feeling too bulky or uncomfortable. I appreciate the way it is strategically placed to prevent saddle sores. I was able to take a 50 mile route without any discomfort so thats a big win in my book. The shorts also come with reflective stripes which is great for added visibility and overall safety. The phone pocket on the leg is also a nice touch for quick access, and the flatlock seams minimize chafing. In general I would make the suggestion of washing them inside out and air dry to preserve the fabric and padding quality. I am happy with my purchase of these cycling shorts overall. The sizing is accurate, they are comfortable to wear and a good value for the money. I would recommend them to other cyclists.

Great quality at a great price
I have a few pairs and have put 1000's of miles on them. They have held up great! No tears, and no degradation in the padding. Would highly recommend.

You get what you pay for
I have purchased eight pairs of these cycling shorts and have had the exact same issue with every one of them. The stitching always comes loose from the padding over time and the polyester wears thin. I machine wash my cycling shorts in cold water and let them hang dry. I am 5‘10“ tall and 220 pounds. I ride indoors only so they are not exposed to any of the elements outside. My riding consists of anywhere from 30 minutes up to seven hours in the saddle. I love the comfort and the fit of these cycling shorts, but be aware there is a reason they only cost about $40.

Just buy it. I'm getting a second pair
Bought the NICEWWIN, nice shorts but the padding although the right thickness it was too soft, got a large, fit was good. Bought the SOUKE nice shorts, great padded but after a while on the saddle you feel the spaces between padded areas, this gets better after you wear it a few times. I will buy another pair, I originally got a large and it was a little big so I'll get a medium next go round. The Sponeed was a nice blend of the first two, good padding but not over padded, and is a pleasure to wear. Bought a Medium, fit was good but can't go smaller. I’m 165lbs. 5’ 10” waist 34” thin legs.

Awesome for the price
Initially I thought the seems down the inside of the leg under the gel padding would be an issue but it is not a problem. These shorts are very good for the price. I only use them for 2 40 minute rides per day (not the same pair daily)
