Unfortunately, the chess set arrived severely damaged. The board was broken into multiple pieces. However, the seller sent us a replacement board upon being notified of the damage. Overall, the set is very beautiful. It makes for an excellent conversation piece as well as a solid gaming platform. The pieces are naturally weighted and beautiful in appearance.

Chess set is beautiful and high quality. Great value for the price compared to marble sets I have seen in stores. It makes a great statement piece on a tabletop and my older kids are enjoying having it available to play whenever they want to. The 15x15 comes with a box to store the board and pieces should you desire to do so. Definitely too heavy to travel with but perfect for home use! If I had to pick something to improve on this product it would be to have latches on the box opposed to Velcro.

This is a gorgeous chess set!! The weight of the board and pieces definitely make this feel super high quality. The box is fantastic for storing or for travel. It is something to keep for years and makes a beautiful piece for display as well. Also, the customer service with this company is OUTSTANDING!! They deserve 5 stars just for that. This is a gorgeous marble set for the price point. The pieces and board are heavy. I had no problems with peeling the protective paper off of the adhesive to put on the pieces. The case is nice, yet impractical for the weight of the board and pieces. The case I received looks like it was put together by a drunken toddler; the sides of the case are not glued properly, and the Velcro closure was put on crooked. We're planning to keep the set out on our coffee table. Otherwise, the case doesn't match the quality of the chess set.

Even though I have ordered the wrong color. I and my partner really liked the quality, material. It looks beautiful on our coffee table. Scratch resistant. They send pads to put underneath, which is great and very very helpful. It is my new year resolution to learn playing chess so with this I can do it elegantly and don’t need to put it back in the cabinet. We bought while it was on sale, it is definitely worth the investment. It is heavy of course because it is marble. Size is perfect, also

STUNNING!!!! I ordered a similar set off of Etsy thinking that was the only place I could get one. Not only did it take FOREVER to received, but when it arrived from the Etsy seller the board was BROKEN IN HALF!!!! I paid significantly more for the one on Etsy not realizing they had a BETTER version of this set available on Amazon for almost half the price. This one arrived clearly marked FRAGILE on the box so it was handled carefully during shipping. It also came with a beautiful case that allows you to protect not only your board but the marble pieces as well. I added a thin layer of grey foam (purchased from the hardware store) to the bottom of the case just for additional cushion support for the board. The pieces in their foam case sit on the top of the marble board and the closure is heavy velcro. My son loved his BRAND NEW board and especially loved the case that it came in since the one from Etsy did not, and it took over a week and a half to get the Etsy one (only to be BROKEN). The Etsy seller said he would replace it, but wanted me to send the other one back FIRST, and only then would they ship a new one out - SO KEEP MY MONEY THE WHOLE TIME? It took him over a week to respond (gave me some BS excuse about his brother being sick) and after 4 times trying to get a response I just opened a case with Etsy and said I want my $$ back. They refunded and I was so thankful to find this one for HALF the price, in a case nonetheless AND a case for all the individual pieces. 10 out of 10.

Terrible quality and experience.

Im DELIGHTED to have ordered this item. It's truly a beautiful and quality piece of craftsmanship. When added to my marble stone custom built fireplace, it's elegance of decorum and sophistication is in a class by itself.

Finishing is poor on the box, not what I would expect from £141. King doesn’t fit in the case unless squeezed into a small space. But for me the killer was the slight difference from the Queen and the Rook, can easily be confused while playing . Looked better in the photo
