Great kit. My daughter loved it, she's 8. The kit has many pieces of fabric and accessories. The mannequins make it look very "professional". She even made a runway out of boxes for them. Very easy to use, and promotes creativity.

I bought this for my niece (10), and she loved it. So did I! We used a marker to trace the dress pattern onto the material. We used a cake board underneath to keep the marker from marking up the table. You’ll need scissors that will cut the material, and although it came with two sided tape, I found that some glue dots that I had on hand worked better. The backing on the included tape was difficult to remove. This set had lots of beautiful materials, bows, and ribbons to choose from. No real sewing was required, but if you wanted to teach a simple straight stitch, this would be a great place to start. What a wonderful set to use to teach basic sewing techniques and design concepts! However, that doesn’t have to be the focus at all. Kids and adults will enjoy playing with this set.

Such a cute gift. My daughter has loved being able to be creative. The fabric is such good quality and the instructions are very clear.

My child had a great time designing outfits, using the variety of pieces, and trying them on the mannequins. It kept her engaged for quiet a while day 1 and encouraged thinking and fine motor skills. The only reason I’m giving four stars is that some of the smaller pieces are a bit tricky to handle and can get lost easily as they just come in a plastic bag which when opened, is useless so they float around the box freely. Otherwise, it’s a great value for hours of imaginative play and makes a wonderful birthday gift.

Fantastic kit for the price. Comes with tons of fabric and accessories. The only real issue I saw was the needle is plastic and too thick for the fabric. But we just used the fabric tape and it worked perfectly. My 9 yo niece loved it. We spent 3 hours working on outfits for her barbies

My daughter loves this kit. She can create all her own designs and gets to get creative. We even added Velcro to dress up her Barbie.

I wish some of the fabric was smaller so it could stuff in back of the mannequin better. Overall, fun for little kids.
