Yes, it’s great for kids! My son wanted blonde or blue highlights and he has dark hair. I’ve tried a few other “professional” products like Manic Panic NYC but it was so much work and didn’t even show! He is only 11 so I don’t want to use bleach or any harsh chemicals. After reading the reviews, I selected this product. I was nervous about this stuff being “chalky” or flaking off and making a mess but it is Awesome! All-in-one product with plenty of tubes and the accessories! You can’t beat it for the price! it has vibrant color with a tint bit of sparkle and it dries fast! It’s easy to apply and play with. Honestly, I don’t think you can mess it up! Once dry, it doesn’t flake or rub off on hands (unless you really try hard to). Anyhow, we love it and have plenty of tubes to last a while. Note: The comb is kind of weird, the color comes out the side but I still found it useful to dispense a little color at a time. It washes out easily. Thanks!

This stuff is great! My 7 year old wanted to dye her hair purple for spring break. We’ve tried chalk and spray before but they leave hair feeling weird and rub off on things. This color was beautiful. Showed up well on dark hair. Stayed in for several days. Faded a little each day. Didn’t rub off on clothes or bedding. Washed out easy. Didn’t stain hands or skin. I would highly recommend this product.

Pretty colors but mine did not work like expected I hope someone else has better luck!

This is the second time we’ve bought this brand, holds up well and you’re able to brush the hair out afterwards to style how you want. Doesn’t make the hair as snarly as other brands we’ve tried. And when you’re ready for it to come out, you just wash your hair.

Was easy to use and my daughter loves it. The color was bold and bright. I was actually surprised at how much we liked this dye. It even washed out clean and didn’t change stain her hair color

This is a great product for temporary color!!! Works well on black hair. Color comes out vibrant, especially if you add layers of the color. You want to allow the products to dry before adding additional layers of color. When the product dries, it does NOT come off when you touch it, does not leave your hair feeling caked with product. There is no offensive odor. I used it to color my hair around the scalp. When I applied, I did not attach the comb to the color tube. I just applied the color directly to the side of the comb and combed my hair. Highly recommend! Stays on well! When dry does not bleed onto my hands or clothes. Washes off hands easily with soap and water. Washes off hair with just shampoo and rinse.

I did a peek-a-boo style on my kid and it took forever and nearly ran oit of color! Granted, her hair is very long, but I didn't even do half of her hair, and I only did 3 strips of 3 colors. Once I dried the colors, I attempted to brush her hair which was extremely difficult for me and painful for her. I'm surprised she's not bald with how much hair she lost. There was also a ton of dye residue that came from her hair while I brushed. It dries, turns into a powder, and sprinkles itself EVERYWHERE. It's been 4 hours since applying and the colors have already faded significantly. I threw away the remaining colors

My grandkids wanted to color their hair. This stuff was great. We had a blast with it. I would definitely order it again.
