ESTARER 13-14 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag Water-Resistant Canvas Shoulder Bag for Business College, Grey

I hunted for months trying to find a replacement for my old bag and this was the one I choose. I have used this bag every day for about 6 monthis. It is not exactly what I wanted, but I couldn't find that bag. What I like: it is durable cotton canvas, roomy, storage for small items, outside pocket for water bottles. What I would change: needs removable strap, metal bar in flap for handle to distribute load and replace Velcro on flap with something else, it is too noisy in a meeting to hear "rip" as you open the flap. All in all, still a good bag.

This is a pretty good bag, especially for the price when compared to the quality of other bags here on Amazon, but it's not the best, and it's certainly not something I'd expect to last a very long time. You can adjust the strap pretty well, but if you go too far, the buckle gets caught on the pad, so assume you won't have complete control over how much you can adjust the strap. The water-resistant coating is decent, but won't stop anything past an extremely light drizzle of rain before it starts soaking into the outer layer. The buckles to hold the top flap down are okay, but not the best, and they don't allow for anything too large in that pocket before clipping them closed becomes impossible, since there's not much room for movement there. The selection of pockets is pretty decent, and you probably won't need a lot of organizing done within each pocket itself. It's not terribly heavy, but that does indicate a bit about the overall quality of the bag. Usually you should expect a bag to be a bit heavier because it uses thicker, stronger materials, which this one just doesn't really do. It's a good value for the money, but if you want something more like your parent's school bags that could last you a couple decades, I'd look elsewhere.

It came the exact same day I ordered it and not late at night either but early in the afternoon. It was exactly as described. It's made a very good quality I can't tell if it's real leather or not but I guess that's a good thing. It has exact right amount of pockets and little cubbies and apartments not so many that you can't keep track of stuff and it takes forever to find anything but just the right amount. There's a space for just about everything or anything you might want to carry with you. Perfect for laptops and notebooks and school and work. It comes with two extra leather tabs for the zippers in case one gets damaged or ripped. The only complaint I have is that the shoulder strap does not come off it's permanently fixed to the bag but other than that it's absolutely perfect. It's waterproof just as it says I spilled water on it and it just beads up and rolls right off. The flat part that goes over the top has two zipper compartments on the outside and then two plastic clips to hold it down with a leather handle on top then on the back side there's a zipper compartment. It has one open pocket on each end when you flip up the top there's one main compartment that has two slots one for your laptop and that compartment has a strap that goes over the top and velcro's to hold your laptop in place. Then a compartment in front of that which has the main area and then to pockets. Then there's an outer zipper compartment that has holders for pins or pencils and pockets for other things and eight little pockets for business cards or credit cards something like that and that's about it. Like I said not too many compartments but just the right amount.

This is an excellent bag. I have now had mine for about a year, and there is very little wear or tear. Great purchase!

Great bag. Plenty of storage space, good padding to protect a laptop. Various added pockets that are great for storing small things. My biggest complaint is that the clips that hold the flap are "inside/under" the flap so it's difficult to clip or unclip it while it's on your shoulder.

This bag lasted 16 months before the buckle for one of the shoulder straps broke off. It's an attractive bag, though the part that holds the laptop in could be a little sturdier/easier to access. I would give it 4 stars if the bag had not broken in less than two years.

It met my expectations and for a very reasonable price.
