UPDATE: I originally purchased the 55 inch which my review for that is below but have since then purchased the 75 inch and it is absolutely fantastic. No dark smearing due to the 75 using an ADS-PRO panel which is an IPS panel with better contrast and black levels. The motion handling is also better on this panel as well. Mine does have some slight IPS glow in top right and left corner but it is not noticeable at all unless you're testing for it. The 75 is also noticeably louder due to the extra 10 watts in the speakers. As stated in my review below the 55, 65, and 85 inch all use VA panels which are notorious for dark/black smearing during dark and fast scenes so if you're a gamer this will be noticeable depending on your sensitivity to it. Extremely happy with the 75 inch and in my opinion if you have the room this is the best size to go for. ATTENTION GAMERS Before I get into my overall impressions of the tv it is important to note that anyone using this tv primarily for gaming like myself should be aware that every model with the exception of the 75 inch, use a VA panel. This is important because while VA panels have the best contrast ratios and deep blacks, they also suffer from slower response times leading to slower transitions from dark to grey pixels which causes Dark Smearing. This also happens during movies and tv as well just not as noticeable. This isn't a Hisense issue nor is it an issue with your unit, this issue is common among VA panels from all brands. The cheaper ones tend to be a little worse than the higher end brands though. Hiw noticeable this is will vary from game to game and depend on how sensitive you are to it. I will warn you though, once you see it you will not be able to unsee it so if you have no idea what dark smearing is or what it looks like I very highly advise you not to look into it. Another issue that is this particular model is something called Overshoot. This issue is a little more rare than the dark smearing as it tends to only occur when the refresh rate sits around 100hz, this issue can easily be remedied by turning off VRR or capping your framerate if available. As for Dark Smearing, unfortunately there is no fix for it. Things you can do to help mitigate it are making sure vrr is disabled and cap the framerate at 60. The higher the refresh rate the more noticeable the dark smearing will be. Another thing you could do is adjust the black level so that the dark pixels aren't as dark, however this defeats the purpose of a VA as you won't have those deep blacks anymore. Each panel type has its pros and cons so it's important to research these prior to your purchase. For me personally i only notice the smearing if I'm panning the camera slowly in games, when playing normally it isn't really noticeable. As I mentioned earlier the 75 inch uses an ADS PRO panel which will have slightly worse contrast than the VA models but won't have the smearing issues either. Bought the 55 inch version this tv back in December for $478 and it's an absolute steal at that price. Colors are great, contrast is great and the picture quality is fantastic. The thing i think that surprised me the most about this tv was the sound quality, it has a 40w sub in the back of the tv that sounds great especially when using content that supports Dolby Atmos. Now it won't beat a decent surround sound system but you absolutely don't need that at all. You get every HDR feature with this tv, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+ so no matter what you'll always get the best possible picture quality regardless of the content you're using it for. I've seen some reviews mention things like the backlight turning off and on and the settings not saving etc. First off make sure everything under the General category in picture settings is off, especially automatical light sensor and intelligent scene as these are what causes the backlight to automatically change brightness.As for the settings not saving make sure to check what the source is for all the content you're using. For example, some content is Dolby Vision while some is just HDR10, you'll need to set the picture settings for each of these different sources as the TV will change to these once it detects them. As far as the operating system goes I've had 0 issues with any lagginess or freezing. A great tip though is to go into the device assistant and use the memory cleaner to free up RAM, as the higher the usage the slower and less responsive the TV will become. I highly suggest going into the settings, then advanced system and turning on Turbo Mode as it will take care of this for the most part for you. My unit didn't have any issues on arrival, no noticeable dse and the package wasn't damaged at all. For this price point this tv can't be beat. Only real "negative" of this tv is that the viewing angles are absolutely horrible. The more at an angle you are the more washed out the image becomes, this isn't an issue for me as I'm always directly in front of the tv but if you have multiple people watching a movie etc and they're at an angle the picture quality will be worse for them. Other than that I'm extremely pleased with this tv.

Excellent television, great picture, easy to setup and it has numerous features within the operating system. I and my family are truly enjoying this television. My son enjoys playing his video games on it. It does wonders for xBox and PS5 games. I like the GoogleTV smart operating system as it remembers all of my settings to my numerous streaming apps and programs. I like the that Hisense truly stands behind their products. My television started actibng erradically and the screen started to BLINK on and of the picture turned ghostly white. I conducted a lot of factory data resets with no success to clearing the program. I called Hisense warranty office and after going through a number of computer prompts I spoke to an actual person who asked me to take a picture of the damaged screen, serial number and my receipt proving my purchase date. I was awareded a case number after my accessment and I was approved. HiSense scheduled a technician to repair my TV and miled and FedEx the parts that would be needed to correct the problem. Afterwards, the television works good as new. I amvery pleased with my purchase and I am extremely happy that I decided to go with this brand. I would highly reccomend any Hisense model because of the quality and the excellent warranty service to back up their products. i plan to purchase another Hisense television in the future. Great picture, sound, and price point, almost OlED blacks with a few setting changes. It's got great contrast and brightness and great picture quality. App system could be better but not completely horrible.

This tv is awesome. And i mean seriously. i never write reviews but i had too on this piece of Art. and for the price?? they basically handed it to me for free. 4k at 60hz or 4k at 120hz for gaming or live sports so whatever you watch it works for you. Setup was fast and easy. i recommend 2 people to handle it. Connected quickly (depending on wifi speed). The Colors are fantastic. you can even change the saturation, the color hue. it has so many precise settings for the picture quality like motion clearness. Sharpness. For a tv to work at 4k 120hz it needs to be at least 55inches. This tv can also automatically detect what your watching or playing to enhance the quality. I was playing Call of duty and it enhanced it to 120hz. I was watching a movie that had IMAX and the tv switched to IMAX quality and IMAX sound quality. this tv is absolutely fantastic. i'm sure there are probably better tvs. but i'm so used to the regular old 1080p or Full HD tvs. That this tv feels like watching the future. If you have a bland regular 4k tv or a boring FULL HD 1080p TV, this NEW TV will Knock your socks off. feels like youre at a movie theater. So sit back, relax and enjoy your movies, shows,and live sports with a nice cold beverage and forget about life when you are immersed into this TV.

I purchased this 43" to use as a PC monitor. First time I ever do this and I've been reading about Hisense and winning awards at CES. So, what better way to see if I like their TVs than by purchasing one that I could put to use as an every day computer monitor. I can say it was packaged very well and the screen is protected with an extra cardboard and a plastic layer. It's very light and everything is plastic but I can't say it feels that cheap to the touch. It also made it very easy for one person to handle. However, everything looks esthetically good. Out of the box the first time I plugged it in there is a bunch of screens to setup Google TV and other stuff. There was also an update and reboot. I am not a fan of Google TV and prefer Roku or Apple but the interface is still pretty nice. I do suggest however that you go through the setup screen one by one if you intend to use it because there is a bunch of stuff you should not agree or activate because it will collect information and send you ads after ads on the home screen. Either way if ever you don't like it you can always just get a $50 Roku stick. For using as a computer monitor or another device like Roku, you can skip all that and don't log into anything. The TV itself has beautiful colors and responsive. I haven't seen any hesitation and the remote has a pretty god range and works well. Speaking of which, it's a simple remote that's very light with large buttons but looks sleek. The menus are made for hassle free setups and make it easy to get you going by selecting movies, pc-gaming, etc. And the manual lacks information. However, if you go looking, all the settings are hidden within one menu or another. Of course you need the remote. This is where you can setup everything like turning off power management to activating PC sync etc. You can also setup things like what input should the TV be on every time you boot it up and much more. I appreciate that as it makes the screen easy to setup with a PC so that when I shut if off or lose power it will not open up to the smart Google TV but always act like a monitor and also shut off power management. Now the rest! Well it's beautiful! The colors are amazing, if playing games or on a PC it has low latency (which needs to be activated). The QLED makes it less prone to burn in. Has all the features and the price is fantastic compared to bigger brands. I truly hope they will continue to improve and maybe implementing roku instead of Google while keeping the price low. They even sell Hisense at the "membership warehouse" now so you could get an extended warranty there but they don't have all the models. By the way has 3 HDMI ports, one is "e-arc" so audio can pass through to another device and it has both WI-FI and an RJ-45 port which is a great thing to have an option for both. So while the manual is not amazing, you can find information online and Google TV is a personal thing on whether you like it or not, it does not remove from the quality and price of the set and deserve a 5 star in my opinion. If you are buying a larger set for your living room, take the time to calibrate it or have someone knowledgeable calibrate the colors. You won't be disappointed.

For those considering this, I bought the 100 inch version and replaced a four year old Sony OLED 77” I don’t remember the exact exact model of my Sony and I’m not going to try to plug it into find that but it was a good TV. However, 100 inch TVs are much much much larger.. I emphasize that because I underestimated how big this TV was. I also underestimated how heavy it was buying a stand rated for 140 pounds.. trying to put the TV on that stand was almost laughable. it was melting under the pressure and there was no way that I was going to try to use that once I realized how stand was bending. Finding a proper counter or TV stand is not going to be easy.. Most wall melts will also melt under the pressure. They’re just too flimsy. The quality is absolutely stunning, and as people told me the bigger TVs have such an immersive feel. I was mostly concerned about pitch quality, but it is easily better than my Sony OLED in every area. It has better brightness, obviously.. When something with a white background comes up, you know it. It’s spooky how bright this is.. it has amazing contrast and black black. But the fine detail and the ability to watch HDR content in vivid realness was unexpected.. I was afraid of the brand and haven’t owned one because I felt they were poorly made, and had less quality than Sony. I was wrong.. This is an exceptionally beautiful well-made TV that leaves me with absolutely no regret.. So glad that I got it. I recommend it.? Maybe not if you’re married. It really does take up a good part of my living room.. For the sound, I really couldn’t tell you I haven’t used speakers in a long time. I use my audio system for that.. I don’t think it’s possible to compare to a good audio system. But when I didn’t have it connected, it seemed perfectly fine. Certainly surpassing my Sony again in this area as well. Overall, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.. Good job Hisense you certainly won me over.

The Hisense 43QD6N is awesome! Perfect and beautiful picture, the 4K AI Upscaler works great for movies and TV series, good sound, tons of features. Setup is easy, wifi connection is fast, remote control is big and smooth, Google App Store is great with a large variety of apps. Excellent TV!

Anything that uses Google software is bad… Crashes all the time. Slow and buggy UI will so much clutter. Picture quality is fine but colours shift and screen flickers when content or input changes. Few apps just wont stop flickering and the TV recrashes and reboots.

TV arrived as expected, great Prime Days deal. Set was easily wall-mounted as it is quite light. VESA 200x300 only, so be aware of that. TV was set up very quickly once powered on. After 2 updates it was ready for use. Typical Google TV setup and home screen. Picture was adjusted to "vivid". Outstanding clarity and crispness, vibrant colour and contrast. No judder at all with fast moving scenes. I'll update the review as time passes, but first impression is terrific. A great deal. Exceptional TV at an affordable price, Prime Days deal an added bonus.
