Metal is as expected lightweight, but perfectly adequate for domestic usage. Lid / chimney has only one handle, presumably to safe on production costs and that is all that is really needed - just wear heat proof gloves if opening while in or soon after use as will be likely be hot. It arrived yesterday so not used yet. It was loose in the cardboard box without any protection or packaging and thankfully only the lid was a little distorted. My main concern and complaint was the jagged piece of metal on the rim of the incinerator- approx 4” long and quite lethal, I was shocked that this was packed and posted to a customer! Hopefully my photos show the problem. Luckily we had the appropriate tools to turn the metal over to make it safe to use otherwise I would be returning it!
