I used this to disassemble and reassemble solid wall wood stove chimney pipe. Worked great for that intended purpose. Well made.

Increase in force necessitates caution so as to not break things from over force

This was slightly bigger than I thought it would be, notably wider. It works really well.

Do not buy any other wrench for your water filter. One and done. I wasted money on the plastic, then the metal, and when the wrench points broke, I went with this.

I doubt very much if there are many cylindrical items that this tool would not tackle with ease. Very strong band indeed. I bought this to remove my undersink water filter housings when the cheaper rubber band type do not work.

We have been struggling for a while, to remove our water filter. This item was amazing. Had it off in no time. It still takes some strength but worked wonderfully. I highly recommend it!

Great strap wrench especially for the price. I used mine for somewhat of an unconventional purpose, one coilover on my car was seized when I went to raise the car. Thought I might be able to Crack it loose without damaging the threads with a strap wrench, and I was indeed correct; worked great and didnt damage any of my threads.

Go too filter strap for the larger cans

I have some small strap wrenches, I have no large... giant... strap wrenches. This was an easy point of interest to give a try as part of Amazon Vine. They're heavy things, but nowhere near as heavy as they'd be made out of cheap metal. These are aluminium, no alloy is specified so presumably they are claiming 100% aluminum. Which should also make them rust-proof and certainly makes them pricey, £50 at the time of writing for the pair. MAXPOWER is embossed into the metal handle: these are no white goods. I don't know what to make of the the strap material. My little strap wrenches use rubber, which has natural grip but will also perish over time. It also cannot be easily repaired in the event of a break. Perhaps the choice of material here is to address those, to be fair, significant downsides. While some tentative testing didn't reveal any issue with the strap type included here I am a little skeptical it's as effective in terms of grip, though I suppose in most cases where you're bringing out the big guns like this then your action will be so forceful and tight that there will be compensation. In any case, the metal body certainly feels bulletproof. The larger one has ridges embossed for traction, the other does not. Not sure what that's about, but perhaps I'm simply inexpert.
