Works well. Choose supplier w instructions
Monitor keeps contact w 6 plants in different locations but all within 30ft. I move the individual sensors within their pot each week as "moisture" reading will be different in spots. Moisture is the most useful info provided by this device. The relative light reading is also useful as outdoors shadows move with the sun and with this you can tell if the plant is in the shade (sometimes you want a plant in the shade). The air temp reading is the least accurate as light can influence a readout to be 20-30 higher than reality. Have also cross checked the readout from one sensor to another in same pot. Results same. Confirms consistency. Setup instructions vary. Problem can occur while installing batteries into the sensors and they each come "active" in sequence (not internet). The sequence of button presses on the monitor is not intuitive. Read all instructions carefully. I actually returned my first purchase of the product as I did not understand the instructions... Suggest also consider also getting the HSL GOVE Soil Meter for confirmation of moisture levels around each pot before adding water. The HLS GOVE also offers a relative readout of fertilizer level and Ph.

A moisture meter that works.
This just came about 30 minutes ago. It automatically connects as you add the batteries. I already have all 6 installed and working. 1 plant needed to add water to get it to register. Good thing I got it. under 10% will blink and flash.

Not accurate, but good enough!
Hey Im a 420 Small Batch Farmer, I'm not sure how accurate these are... they're a neat concept with the wireless setup & control panel, buuuut LBS they don't really read right, and I've cleaned the probes twice weekly and made sure it was at the proper depth. They get kinda sorta (not really) close but no dice on the "Soil Moisture". The temp, light and clock are great on it. But not the main thing i bought it for. Love the concept but the reality is much different. 🤷🏽♂️ Edit: Upgrading to 4 stars. I figured out a good way to use these, even faulty on the actual %, you can associate a certain % with your plants maximum dryness tolerance and base your level upon that. Also the company reached out a while back and offered to make it right (& did). Amazing customer service. 👍🏼

Don't waste your money
This brand didn't make it through one season. I purchased this with the additional 4 pack sensors and placed them inside planter pots. One sensor stopped working before 30 days and the others randomly stopped working throughout the rest of the summer.

It helps you give plants what plants crave
I bought a Firefly petunia, and it's really cool and I really don't want to kill it. I have whatever the opposite of a green thumb is, I've killed multiple succulents, and I've never actually tried but I bet I could kill a cactus too. It's been over 6 months and this thing is still growing, it's still glowing, and it brings me joy. I appreciate this thing's ability to tell me when my plant is thirsty (something something science something something soil moisture.... it speaks plant and can tell me when the plant is thirsty, and you can't convince me any different) and the deep shame it makes me feel if I don't give my very pretty and very good plant water.

You'll get air temperature from this one
This probe has a serious flaw when measuring soil temperature. It appears to measure the temperature at the top of the device instead, giving me a reading of 43 °C for soil that’s covered with a thermal blanket. I bought a simple temperature probe to confirm, and it shows around 76 °F. The moisture monitor seems more accurate—it at least correlates well with my watering cycles.

A tall drink of water.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love that I don't have to wonder if my plants need water or not! No more dirty fingers or guessing.... I've killed a few plants because i overwatered them. Now my digital readout tells me exactly how much water percentage is. Sun amount and temp. I use the temp to tell the temp of each room they're in now too.... awesome product. With the price of plants going crazy, it's nice to know I won't be killing anymore plants!

So easy and effective
I got two of these to monitor the moisture on two newly planted trees. Easy to pair to the main monitor. Great real time readings with time and temp. It has been wonderful to get to help out our new baby trees to survive a hot summer. Definitely recommend
