Very good knife
This knife is well worth it but its not for everyone mainly because of how massive it is compared to most knives but for me I've gotten pretty use to handling it and it is wicked sharp right out of the box and the leather sheath is pretty good as well and the gripping the handle is very comfortable in my hand and it practically sucks into my palm

SHARP AND BALANCED PERFECT
Excellent quality especially love the grip and the balance in hand for such a giant cutter. Mine came with a razor sharp edge too. I could work on camp chores with this and easily switch to cooking prep for chef or santoku type tasks.

Heavy duty knife
Heavy duty, knife, great for camping or the kitchen. Has a very nice edge, heavy weight blade and a nice scales.

This is a versatile cleaver. It’s got some weight so be prepared for that. Plenty of space between the knuckles and the grip so you can dice easily. This is a well thought out blade.

Amazingly sharp! Good thing the back part of the blade is there to keep the fingers from slipping! Well designed & Balanced. This one was built to last a lifetime. Naturally, it's a Doug Marcaida Design!!!

Good solid knife.
I haven't had a chance to test it, but I think it will hold up well. It's a good thickness and feels good in the hand and a good weight for camp chores or work in the woods. Mr. Marcaida designed a near perfect knife here. The only way to improve it, I think, would be to add a karambit style ring to the pommel. It would assist in retention when chopping and if grappling could serve as a digit capture ring.

Doug Marcaida never falls to impress, bit this blade is NEXT LEVEL, ladies and gents. To my great joy, this arrived precisely on time, and was exactly the do-everything blade that I've been waiting for. I love everything about it. Camping, kitchen, combat... You name it. Sharp right out of the box. Distinctly reminds me of a slab of cold, cut obsidian. Even the leather sheath is awesome, it actually has a hinger strap. I'm in LOVE. This is a limited, numbered edition, so I wouldn't wait too long, totally worth the price.
