These actually work so well. 100% privacy, no light shines through. There’s magnets around the edges that easily snap onto the window frame. Super quick and easy especially after using them a few times. And they’re thin enough to easily fold and neatly store them. I’ve used them several times for car camping, changing in my car, and just chilling. They don’t fit “perfectly” on my windows (2012 Prius), there’s excess room which is a green flag to me. It still works perfectly! Can’t recommend these bad boys enough.

The goods: These shades are made of a nylon type material with a foil face that is similar to that used on a lot of folding front windshield shades. The pack of 4 consists of 2 tapered shades for use in the front windows and 2 square shades for the back. Each one is held in place by small bar magnets sewn into the hem (top and sides). The material is completely opaque. The lowdown: The material is pretty sturdy. The nylon backing has held up well, as has the foil face. The magnets are strong enough to hold the shades securely in place. The front shades are tapered well to fit the curve of my car's front windows. My car is a compact, but there is enough extra that hangs down past the window that larger cars should be covered pretty well, too. My car has significantly curved rear windows, but the squarish rear panels still fit reasonably well and the magnets hold it in place nonetheless. These panels block the sun completely, but of course, if your car is left out in the sun long enough, it's going going to get hot. No shades will stop that. But they do block the sun effectively. The warnings: The shades are held on by magnets, so check to see if your car's interior window frames are metal. Some cars have plastic trim covering the window frames, so this could be an issue for those. Test your frames with a magnet to see if it sticks if you're not sure. If your car's rear windows are curvy like mine, the square rear panels will stick, but you might have to fold a corner. They do fit, though. The bottom line: Great shades. They fit well, they stick securely and they pretty much do what you'd expect them to do. The panels should be big enough even for larger cars, and also fit small cars without a problem. Good coverage on the window. Fully opaque. If they fit my car's weird windows, they should fit yours. Good stuff.

Easy use, it stays in place but if you were to tug on it even a little a couple magnets might fall off, no visibility good quality.

Heat at my house can reach 115+ degrees many days in the summer. I have an older car that I am trying to have last as long as possible and heat and the ultraviolet rays from the sun can prematurely damage the interior of the vehicle. The windows on my vehicle do not have metal but plastic trim, but the problem is easily worked around by placing them in the door jam of the vehicle which is all metal. One improvement would be to have a strap or other mechanism to keep the bottom of the shade tight and closer to the bottom of the window as in my instance the sunlight still gets in through the bottom of the shade because it does not freely drop flush. There is another workaround for this by pushing the shade into the window jam at the bottom, but this can only be done for one side at a time. As the sun transverses the sky the other side needs to have this done as well, but for the most part, I do not take the time to do this. All-in-all, a good high quality product that works well for what it does. Easy to use to place and remove.

This product is advertised as universal with the clause that it may not fit every vehicle. For my Honda Pilot it covers a vast majority of the windows but there are slight gaps (pictured). When I first put it on the driver window there was a fairly big gap, but the magnets are slightly adjustableby sliding them inside the fabric which allowed me to minimize the gaps. The bottom of the shades do not have magnets. Since I really wanted these for the front windows, I did not verify the back window dimensions prior to ordering. They are slightly smaller than my windows and the magnets cannot be adjusted perfectly to the edges due to the plastic pieces on the car. The material is very thin, so I am mildly concerned about the longevity of it. I am happy with the sunshades and would purchase again.

At first, I love everything about these shades. Living in Arizona, I use them every day. I loved the size, shape, and ease of use. From the outside they make my car just look like I have really dark windows. They cool off the car a lot when paired with a windshield cover. You can even lower the windows a little or a lot with them in use. I use them on a SUV and I’m sad that it didn’t come with a cover for the window on the hatchback. I need something there. The only real con is that with repeated use the magnets have slid around the edging leaving some areas with no magnets and this means it doesn’t attach. Many of the magnets have broken through the material and remain around the frame of the window after I remove the shade. I can sew so I’m going to experiment with reinforcing the edge band. I would give 5* and buy a set for every car I own if the quality was just a little better.

So i have a honda civic and these worked GREAT!!!! I had parked at a truck stop so there was lots of lighting to block and it was amazing!!!! they stick well (note if the wind is really kicking you will have a little fenagaling to do) but in normal weather they work fantastic. i slept like a baby cause this kept all the light out

I magnetini sono piccoli ma fanno il loro lavoro. Nel mio caso ho una Maxda CX 30 le tendine sono anche troppo grandi rispetto ai finestrini. Si impara a metterli e a toglierli in 5 minuti. Li ho presi per il sole estivo e fanno bene il loro lavoro.
