amazing unit
Used this unit for the first time last week. New to the world of induction cooking and was really impressed. We are campers and size for storage is always an issue. This is one compact powerful stove. Really happy, Thanks, Steve

Total Garbage – Completely Dead in Under 3 Months
Do NOT waste your money on this piece of junk. I bought the Gasland double induction burner on January 10, and within WEEKS I smelled burning wires. Shortly after, one of the burners stopped working and showed a “faulty” error. A few weeks later? The second burner did the exact same thing. Now, less than 3 months in, the whole thing is dead and useless. For a product that’s supposed to be safe and reliable, this is beyond unacceptable. I’m furious. I expected it to last at least a year, not fail catastrophically in just a few months. This is either extremely poor quality or downright dangerous. Save yourself the headache. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!

Very good
Plusses first; It heats the pans very quickly, I can cook an omelet in half the time as on my gas range. The temperature control is very good. It doesn't produce tons of extra heat and turn the kitchen into a sauna which is great for cooking in the summer. It is small and thin enough to fit into a wide cabinet drawer for out of site storage. It will run from a 120v/15amp circuit. Now the minusses; The cooling fans for the internal components are rather loud, I have to turn up the TV a bit to hear it. It makes a 60Hz buzzing sound when ever a burner is on. That along with the fan noise makes this portable cooktop a bit loud. The top surface is black tempered glass and shows every speck of dirt. It is hard as hell to get the glass clean with no streaks. EDIT 5/24/24. I figured out how to clean the glass properly; after the glass surface has cooled to the touch... 1st wipe with a paper towel, 2nd take a magic eraser, wet it & drip a few drops of liquid dish soap into it & squeeze it together, 3rd scrub the cooktop in a circular motion over the entire surface 4 or 5 times using light pressure, 4th wipe up the extra liquid, 5th use your preferred glass cleaner to clean the streaks off.Overall the minusses don't cancel out the plusses. Thus far it is working as I wished it to. I would also recommend 2 silicon protectors to prevent scratches and to keep the pots from sliding around on the cooktop while you're stirring etc. I recommend these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CWTNS889?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I was a bit reticent to buy them since they didn't have many reviews but they work quite well.

Small coils...booo
It works ok-ish, but the coils are small. I've owned an induction range/oven in the past so I had an idea of what to expect. The noise is to be expected for something this cheap. It heats things up quick. It doesn't use a lot of electricity just plugged in doing nothing so that is nice. The biggest issue for me is that both coils are about 5.5 inches in diameter which they don't mention in the product description, just saying it works for 6 inch+ pans which is technically true but not ideal. This is fine for a small sauce pan but for a bigger pot or a skillet it can become an issue. I tried it with my favorite cast iron skillet and the heat was concentrated right above the coil, so the center of the pan was like 500 degrees fahrenheit (260C, I know our units are dumb) but around the perimeter of the pan the temp drops off drastically to around 175-200F (80-93C). Not great if you are trying to cook using the whole pan. I haven't tried using a stainless pan with a built in heat spreading layer yet, but I'm only expecting it to be slightly better and not full even heating. Waiting for the skillet to heat up was not an issue as I waited for 5 minutes for the heat to spread with a top on and it still never evened out. Also if you're concerned about my cast iron skillet at 500F for many minutes don't worry I was planning on seasoning it anyway but the intense heat did dull the surface as since at one point it was over 600F while I was figuring out what wattage setting was appropriate.Anyway, I can say it works but not great for mid/large pans. I wish they would do one small coil and one big coil, like a 5.5" and a 9-10". This is just a temporary thing for me as eventually I'll replace my current range/oven with an induction top at some point but that isn't something that will happen soon.
