Complete junk
When I first opened the box I was thoroughly impressed with the build quality and feel of the flashlight and was surprised to get a bonus tiny flashlight. That’s where it stopped out of the Box the big flashlight would not turn on and I tried charging it and it would not hold a charge or charge completely. and when I left it plugged in and turned it on it would immediately go dead. They did send me a replacement and it did the same thing. Garbage look elsewhere for a bright flashlight.

Amazing FlashLight But Needs Directions
This is an amazing flashlight! The vendor should have provided directions with the flashlight! I couldn't figure out how to turn the flashlight on, and I am a technical person. The trick is that you need to unscrew the cap and remove the white insert. I kept thinking the flashlight was broken, but once you did that, everything worked perfectly! This flashlight is well constructed with many different light options. It's one of the best flashlights I have seen and used. It would have been a 5 out of 5 if it had proper instructions. The flashlight is highly durable and offers excellent battery life.

Really Bright
I like how this feels - it's a solid flashlight like 2/3 of the old heavy Mag lite. It's also super bright really quite impressive. I have had zero issue so far except you do need to keep an eye on the charge.

I Like it, Can't Love It
I have really thought about this VASTFIRE Flashlight. There are many positives but also some things that bother me. They say it's the worlds brightest heavy duty flashlight, I won't argue that as it is extremely bright. I shined the light down my street and it lit up many houses. It has fantastic distance. So much that I thought about the searchlights that businesses would use for a grand opening or some sale. I pointed it to the sky and I smiled as it did produce a clear narrow beam. Wow. The "look" of the light - it could be a prop on a Sci-Fi show. Now that is not a bad thing really. The jagged teeth around the light-I bet one could use that for defense..maybe sharpen it up if they wanted too. Certainly the end of the light has uses, light it was suggested to use it to bust a car window if needed. You know I was about to give this light one star. You see there were no instructions. It had a high charge already upon opening the package, I charged it to 100%, hit the power button and nothing. I was about to put it away then decided to look at the battery. I have a Streamlight-been using for several years without any problems, I wanted to compare the batteries. That's when I discovered that there was a paper shield at the connectors. They really should have had some direction/instruction for the customer. So, you have varying modes. Bright bright, bright, strobe, SOS, etc. I would prefer a button to directly use the side light. It may be rare, I don't know, but I would be more satisfied with this feature. Know that once you do "press" to the mode you want and stay for a minute (maybe), you can press once to turn it off-without going through the other modes. Charging time, it may depend on your USB adapter. Can't tell what my charge rate is-it's directly from a 110v receptacle combo. My charge went from 68% to 100% in 57 minutes. Is that good for you? Know that I charged it to 100% about an hour before and played with it mostly on the high beam. My four star rating is for lack of instructions (very annoyed) and an extra button. The battery life may not be an issue. I have not been in situations where I needed a light continuously so I believe this would work in a pinch. There is another thing-the carrying strap. I would have prefered that a sheath with belt hook have been provided to protect the lens. The strap option may not practical for your needs. Also, going back to the design/appearance. The ad does not showcase the flashlight as a whole. Why? Did they realize the look maybe a little polarizing so they went with the strenghts of its brightness? I've been going back and forth on this. I really would have prefered a solid black. What do you think? More tactical than cosplay. That's it. I really sounded critical in this review. But its BRIGHT.

Huge, big flashlight, very bright and rechargeable
There was no picture so I wasn't sure what the flashlight was going to look like but I am always interested in getting a very bright flashlight. This flashlight is really large. It's also pretty heavy. Twice as long and twice as heavy as most flashlights. You may or may not like that. It definitely can be used as weapon in defense. It's sort of strange because it comes in a plain white box with no writing and no instructions. However, it is not difficult to figure out how to use. It does have a digital readout that shows you how much battery power there is. That is really nice and it's the first flashlight I have that has that. It has USB C port to charge it and it has USB A port so you can charge your phone, etc. Note that USB C cannot be charged by hi powered USB C to USB C type chargers. It can only be charged with a USBA to USBC cable, the slower chargers. I have other devices like that and I find that irritating because I have to carry extra cables with me and I can't just use the C to C cable that I use to charge my phone. As you hit the power button once it's on, it goes from High brightness, to medium brightness, to fast strobe, to SOS strobe, then turns on a little light on the side. The side light goes from bright white, to med bright, to red, to flashing red. The side light can be used as a lantern, so that's sort of nice.It also comes with shoulder strap so you can carry the flashlight with the strap. As others have mentioned, it also came with a little mini flashlight with a dim blue light. I guess you can use this in the dark to read a map, etc without being too bright. It's a very dim blue light.Brightness: It's very bright but for the size and weight, I was expecting more. I have an Anker flashlight that is a true 900 lumens. This flashlight is a little brighter than the Anker. So if I were to guess, I think it's about 1500 lumens? Definitely not 100k lumens but I think we all know that was not correct. The Anker was $30 and not rechargeable. So overall for the price and size, I'm disappointed that it's not brighter. It does have a lot of features and comes with a free extra mini blue flashlight, shoulder strap and USB cables. And unless you want a heavy, large flashlight, it's sort of clunky. If you leave it on the high setting, you literally see the meter dropping so I don't think the battery will last too long the high setting. But seems to do well on the medium setting. In the picture, the flashlight on the left is a standard sized flashlight for comparison.Update: I wanted to mention that the customer service from the company is outstanding! They read my review and contacted me and I asked if I wanted to try a smaller flashlight. I think they thought I was being negative about the size. I think having a bigger size is a matter of personal choice and I'm sure the longer size with two big batteries gives you longer battery life and a brighter light, so there is a trade off. However, they sent me a replacement flashlight that is more compact and yet is super bright. I"m very impressed with the size and power of the smaller flashlight. So I'm giving them an extra star for fantastic service.
