I've been using this for a few weeks now, testing it as a solution for failing MagSafe chargers. I'm honestly surprised how well it works. They don't get hot, which probably means they're sell made with little energy loss, and it charges an 11" MacBook Air to a 15" MacBook Pro. I ordered another one for my dad for Christmas.I'll update this review if I have any issues in the future.

Adapter failed after 3 months of use. It started to get really hot near the end and then stopped working. Poor Quality connector. Not worth the money.

Now my USB-C charger that I use for my phone can also charge my old MacBook Pro. It works nicely, and I don't have to lug my large, white Apple charger around when I travel.

I got this because I'm currently using an old mid-2013 Macbook Pro and was tired of the bulky, non-USB C charger it comes with. I can confirm that the product works, but don't expect any miracles.It rapidly turns on and off. I wish I could say as long as you keep it still, it will keep a charge, but unfortunately it'll stop charging while completely still, for seemingly no reason at all. Still, I have found that it charges more often than it doesn't and will slowly fill your battery faster than it drains. It can also get hot, so watch out for that.This is ideal as a temporary solution to consolidate cables until I'm able get a better, more modern computer. For any permanent use case, I imagine this would be far too frustrating to use.

Enter this guy—priced at just $13, which seemed very reasonable for the task at hand.Honestly, it works great! It charges my MacBook without overheating or bursting into flames, which is pretty much all I’m looking for in a power adapter. Plus, the build quality isn’t half bad. The T-Tip fits snugly, and there’s none of that flimsy "am I going to electrocute myself?" feeling.I took off one star because, well, it’s not the original and doesn’t have that premium Apple vibe—but for $13, it’s a bargain that keeps my MacBook alive and kicking. Overall, a solid choice if you’re tired of overpriced Apple replacements.

Was surprised as this adapter not only fit properly but also worked perfectly. I was expecting it not to. Definitely worked as described/was supposed to. Have had it around six months, and so far, so good :)

Works exactly as advertised and cuts down on the need to buy another specialized charging cable.

It works intermittently. I have tried a number of non-Apple charging cable and adapters and they all have the same problem. The #2 and #4 pins are apparently spring-loaded and the quality on the non-Apple products is not good enough and the pins stick. I don't want to carry an Apple charger with me and this works just well enough but if you need your computer to work I don't think you can depend on any non-Apple product.
