This product works just as described. The only issues I had were user error. Once you have your cables plugged in and you go to tighten the ends make sure you don't tighten it so far your cable spins, it will pull out of the jack. I would think it's common sense but always install these with some kind of covering and not buried in the ground. I didn't see anything specific but I had a 970' run so I put two in line each at 300' intervals, you can go a maximum of 2600' between them. With the 970' run we were able to get 94Mbps on upload and download.

I had a cable length of 88m estimated and it would not get link or power. Cable tester showed I was getting 54 volts on mid span but the POE switch wouldn’t get link light. I was about to replace with cat6a cabling which is a pain to pull thru conduit. Took a chance with this product and I was able to see my video feed, granted it works at 100M instead of 1G but I’m just happy camera video is flowing now.

I installed my dream system at my home and had one very long run out to 8MP Turret cam hidden in mailbox to view any vehicles driving down my street, 300'. Couldn't get a picture till I installed this booster. Only needed one and I put it from a patch cable at the NVR. This was a God send and I can't thank this company enough. Highly recommend!!!!

These did not work for me. They did not extend my signal! I had to use a POE switch. Do not recommend!!!!

This extender does some of what it should. I connected the output of one of them to my PoE injector and I was able to make both of them work together to create a 100-megabit link. This worked on my PoE wireless access point. I didn't try them with a longer than 100-meter cable, but the only reason that wouldn't work is because the cable would be the problem, not the extenders themselves. I recommend using pure copper, not copper clad aluminum, ethernet if you want to do very long distances. The problem is that I couldn't make it work on my computer. The orange light was illuminated on the injector and extenders, but the ethernet port created sparks when I plugged it in, which caused the orange light to turn off. I couldn't get a connection. It didn't damage my computer, but I won't be trying it again. You might can connect a computer with a PoE splitter, but that's just adding even more complexity to the already complex setup. More points of failure is never a good thing. It's priced very competitively with other extenders. This two pack is 80 dollars while a singular FASTCABLING extender is 70 dollars. If you're on the edge about getting the extremely expensive FASTCABLING one or this two pack for connecting your PoE cameras with a longer than 100-meter cable, then you should get this one. Two of the FASTCABLING extenders is 140 dollars. If you want a greater than 100-meter cable for your computer, then those may work better with them. I had no luck with non-PoE devices with these extenders. Overall, it's disappointing to not have the functionality I wanted, but I can recommend these extenders for PoE cameras or access points.

Alright sorry no photos. These do work for REOLINK wire POE cameras. I used the PTZ OITDOOR E1???? The swivel camera. Anyways I made my own wires. Cat6 outdoor. Did 275ft from nvr to first EXTENDER. Then 700 feet to next one. WHEN PAIRING!!!! BOTH INPUTS need to face each other when using both on same line!!. Alright then I ran 100 feet from second extender to camera. Camera swivels then blue light blinks. Nothing worked???? Ok I then cut the cable shorter. 75’-40’-15’ down to 1’. NOTHING. Ok I then bought a poe power injector at NVR. no picture but it was getting power? So I thought ok I will get a union move the second poe extender closer to the camera. I put the 2nd extender right under the camera. Plugged my cat6 cable in. NOTHING!!!! WHAT?!?!! Out of desperation I used a cat 5 cable you know the blue/ yellow or grey you get in box. BOOM it turns on?????!!! NOT a clue why don’t care it works! So Poe injector at NVR. Ran 275’ cat 6 to first injector. Then 800 feet to second injector. Both inputs facing each other. Then used cat 5 from second injector to camera it works. 🤷‍♂️

Helped out with our security cameras since they were far from our house.

They do what they are designed to do. I'm running a 4k PTZ cam about 800' away from the house and other than water intrusion they work great as a pair, that said, they leak like a sieve. ruined two this winter. looking for a better quality replacement. used a can of flex seal to seal them up this last time until i can figure out a better option.

Il n'est pas possible d’en coupler plus de deux : j’ai essayé d’en mettre trois ou quatre, avec un extender tous les 100 mètres, mais cela n’a pas fonctionné.

Doet wat die doen moet n.l. verbinding maken over langere afstanden. Ik heb deze gebruikt voor een verbinding tussen een poe-switch en een camera over 200 meter Cat5 kabel. De werking is perfekt.
