The fabric is soft and breathable. Love the length. They are a far better quality than another brand that I bought at the same time. I also love the cargo style for the extra pockets. Ideal when at park walking as the multiple pockets hold all needed items (keys, cell phone). I have both colors and wish they had in white. Would definitely purchase other colors if they were available. I was looking to replace my fave white joggers that ripped on a fence. This is what lead me to purchase these initially. One of my biggest complaints with female clothing is the lack of usable pockets (and short/cropped shirts, and tight sleeves. We're not all 18 yo, 5 foot nothing and 92 pounds, but I digress...). I can't even carry my keys in my jeans without constantly having to stuff them back in because they're only knuckle deep. The front pockets on these capris - you can actually fit your whole hand up to the wrist in these things! I'm shocked and amazed! Also, inside each pocket is a small hidden pocket that you can fit 2 full fingers in - great for your cash or lip balm, etc. My Galaxy S10 will fit in the front pocket, but sadly not on the cargo pocket unless the flap remains up (which doesn't look good and I'd worry about it falling out), but I still like the option of having them for other things. My only complaint (again, female clothing issue) is the (IMHO) stupid draw string on the outside of the waist. If we HAVE to have this, can't it be on the inside so you don't have that lump under your shirt or worse, the white string showing? I'll take my pockets and just be happy. I forgot to lose my Covid weight this summer and was looking for something that wasn't skin tight and I didn't have to hold my breath all day wearing them (or be afraid to sit down in fear of seams exploding). These are just like sweat pants, without being baggy or giving you grandma-butt. They are a bit on the heavy side as far as material goes, but I'll take that over having to worry about everyone seeing the color of my underwear. I bought a medium - normal size is 8, and just under 150 pounds. Next I ordered a large in black and it was perfect the fabric is soft ,medium weight ,may strech a little but still fine I love the cargo look and the pockets hold my cell and wallet. With the right top it looks dressy. I am 5*6" and 174 lbs with a wide waist.
