Good, Reliable Connectors for Fat SFTP Cable
Over the past 5 years I've installed well over 100 of these keystone jacks, all on 22 or 23 AWG Cat 7 or 8 SFTP cable, and I'm having trouble remembering ever having one of these fail to work (though I have miswired a couple, it takes some work to get them back open to fix that). While dealing with shielded cable with foil-wrapped pairs always requires a bit of fiddling, getting the connector on once the fiddling is done is quick and simple. Beyond the cable stripper the only tools required are a pair of flush cutter pliers and, if you aren't strong enough to squeeze the shell closed with your fingers (I'm not), something to do that; I invested in the Cable Matters tool for this but vice grips work just fine too. I do find that the foil strip included with the connector is a bit too small so I cut my own from a roll of 1/2" 3M 1181 instead. Last, I'll just note that with all the cables I've used these on so far the 568B wiring has been a slightly better match for the cap arrangement (the wires come out of the cable exactly where you want them for 568B at one end and just one crossover at the other), though that depends on how the cable manufacturer arranges the colors and I don't know if they all do it the same.In my experience these are really nice connectors that install easily and work well. I usually use a Fluke tester to verify newly-installed links and I don't recall ever having one that didn't pass for the tester's 10GBaseT maximum and the POE test. It may be that these connectors work less well with smaller wire sizes and/or thinner insulation, though.

Pricey but well-made
Very durable, fairly easy to use. No special tools needed, just something to clamp the housing closed.

Best cat 8 keystone jacks
I bought 10 expensive cat 7 keystone wall jacks from sunny tech to fit into two 6 keystone wall plates. All of them had weird loose connections that sent me through the roof trying to jiggle them to figure out what was the best position for them to stay connected. Breath on them and I’d loose connectivity. Called and their support was no help and refused to accept a return even after I had bought over 2000 feet of cat cable, over 100 connectors and more than 2 dozen keystone jacks from them. I replaced their cat 7 with ones from cable matters and fixed my problem in one afternoon - all of them! No matter what position my cables are in, my connectivity stays! No more loosing internet. Installation was easy and fool proof if you have sliding jaw pliers and flush cutting scissors. A little expensive but well worth the cost for the trouble I’ve been through. Thank you, Cables Matter!

Great quality - two diff responses for customer service regarding reopening
First off, these are quite solid/good quality metal keystones. This was the first time I tried adding a keystone to a Cat8 cable, so I didn’t find have a couple of issues. I reached out to customer service on how to reopen the keystone after closing (as my first attempt didn’t work). They first suggested one method that might break it (indeed it did), the next day I got a message from someone else with a different method that worked flawlessly. I wish I was given the correct info first so I wouldn’t have broken one of these expensive keystones! After a couple multiple attempts, I was able to get them working well.Below is the second response I got from their customer service on how to properly reopen these keystones. They also answered a question about a center, exposed, wire I had in my shielded cat8 cable I was trying to connect.====================The keystone jack can be opened with a flathead screwdriver. Please pry the position shown in the picture attached with a flathead screwdriver and it will be opened. Also, the center wire of the ethernet cable is a drain wire and needs to make contact with the metal shell of the keystone jack.

They work flawlessly and reliably
These work. I was using Infinity Cable branded keystones, and they didn't work. I'd get 100Mbit on the Fluke Networks LinkIQ tester. These work perfectly each time. I'm returning the Infinity Cable branded keystones and buying these to replace them. If I could give these 50 stars instead of 5 I would.

Easy to install, fit into third party plate
Fished a Cat8 cable today and installed one of these keystones. The instructions require someone who has terminated ethernet before. But to me the instructions were clear and the experience of installing this product was the easiest it’s ever been to complete an ethernet project. The hardest part was using the small strip of copper foil tape. If you make a mistake, out of luck. The foil tape step is probably not necessary, but does allow the auto-crimp function to work a little better. If recommend people have extra foil tape. Because all other parts of the keystone are very reusable and forgiving if you make a mistake.

Absolute Garbage; 100% FAILURE RATE!!
Absolutely the largest theft of my money I have ever experienced. I am a seasoned network cable guy, having terminated innumerable male and female ends successfully in the field. Never in my existence have I had a product have a 100% failure rate and have every single termination test open on every wire! I have tried over a dozen of these on CAT8 cable, peeling back the shielding carefully exactly as instructed and wrapping it with the included copper wrap, and following the instructions to the letter (even though the instructions say to put the green and blue wires in different positions, depending on whether you follow the guide bracket or written instructions!!). Just complete non-functional garbage with garbage instructions and a super high price point with money wasted that cannot be recovered. Trust me—STAY AWAY! Again, I am a skilled network cable guy who has 100% success with everything up to CAT7. These shielded CAT female keystone jacks have a 100% failure rate. Save yourself the frustration; I know I learned my lesson.
