Lightweight wide-fitting mesh trainers
A very lightweight mesh trainer with an extra-wide fitting. I have feet like a yeti, sasquatch or the original gorilla but even I found these wide, so if wide is what you want, wide is what you shall receive. So far, so good. The lightweight mesh uppers are of reasonable quality, the thin lining and rubber soles with a decent if not particularly noteworthy grip likewise, while the laces are generous. Breathability seems quite good -in warm weather, you shouldn't find them restrictive at all, so all fine there. Whether the touted comfort is all it's claimed to be is another matter: they're fine, but no more than that, and personally, I find the rather thin soles end up giving me some impact fatigue after a while, especially if walking, jogging or generally wombling on hard or uneaven surfaces. Your mileage, as always, may vary. Certainly well worth a look though if you want a wide-fit, lightweight pair of trainers.

Really comfortable but buy a size up
I ordered these grey barefoot shoes because I find traditional trainers too heavy for me. I'm a size 6.5/7 but ordered the 7.5 as I expected them to come up slightly small which they did. The 7.5/42 was the perfect size for me.Despite being called barefoot, they have good solid soles with a good grip but the top is very soft which means easy to get on and no blisters. They're very comfortable, so much so that I'm ordering another pair.I did notice that they don't quite match, one of the ends is curved, the other slightly straight but that doesn't affect how they feel when on. They're ideal for wide feet and lovely and lightweight worn on so you don't feel constricted or struggle to get them on.4* – Very comfortable, easy to wear, a good grip on the solid soles, lightweight without feeling unsupported – although the very soft top means there's no protection if anything drops on your toe. I'd recommend buying one size larger than your regular size and mine also don't quite match, hence the 4* and not 5* BUT I'm ordering another pair as they really are very comfortable to wear

Lightweight running shoes
These are comfortable, lightweight running shoes. They have a wide toe design, which is great for people who have hammer-toes or bunions, or simply feet that are wider than usual. Being light means you can pack them in a suitcase with less risk of exceeding your airline baggage allowance. On the downside, these canvas-sided shoes won't give your ankles much support. Also, the soles are quite thin (the shoes are called 'barefoot' for a reason) so I am not sure how long they will last. And even though they have treads, you definitely wouldn't want to step on a drawing pin while wearing them! I would recommend inserting insoles personally (orthotic if you need arch support as well).

Good for my purpose and inexpensive.
Lightweight shoes were just what I need for my next trip to sunnier climes. I have booked a very inexpensive all inclusive to a great hotel in Turkey that I recently spent a week in. The only snag is that the airline is different on this next trip and, without paying a fortune for extra bag carriage, I am severely restricted on both bag size and weight. When the shoes arrived I was pleased to find that they are indeed lightweight. As the listing states they are also a wide fitting. That suits me because I intend making full use of the gym at the hotel and these shoes will allow me to use a good supportive insole without cramping my feet. The soles are also treadmill friendly and provide good traction, at least on my home treadmill. The shoes are relatively stylish and also very comfortable and I think that the mesh construction will help in heat and moisture dissipation. They also seem to be well enough made although foot support, without insoles, is quite lacking.Value wise £27.99 is a good deal for a reasonable pair of summer casual shoes that probably will not see too much wear but will be great when on holiday.

Will be good for the summer.
These are very light and allow your feel to breathe through the material which means it helps to stop them overheating. They are also wide at the toes which allows room for movement and spreading, meaning your toes are not constantly compressed which allows for more comfort. These also look very smart and are nicely made and finished. My criticism is, because they are so light, I don't feel you could walk or run on anything other than fairly smooth ground - they don't appear robust enough to deal with stoney paths or a rocky trail. Also, the material is breathable which means water can get in so I would think these are more suited to summer use rather than when we have bad weather. That said, these would make a great general use holiday footwear choice as they are very comfortable and look very nice. The undersole has a deep and strong pattern and is made of rubber so slipping is very unlikely. Perfect for a cruise ship! The price is fair and these are a nice pair of shoes for holidays or flat road waling/running.
