GliddenInterior Paint + Primer: Sage/Gargoyle, One Coat, Eggshell, 1-Quart

"All About Olive" is on point! Selecting the desired shade was a process and decided to go with the name hoping for true olive color. The eggshell texture is gorgeous and the paint coverage wonderful. Packaging was clean and secure. First time with online paint and couldn't be happier with outcome. It arrived several days early too!

This is excellent quality paint! The color is great, goes on thick and dries quickly. It was a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. This isn’t that cheap paint that you buy in the middle of Walmart. I’ve used that in the past and it always peels. This is the complete opposite.

Paint lid was darn near impossible to get the plastic ring off. Had to YouTube directions. Very simple though just push down in m idle and pull up on the sides. Just wish it came with instructions how to remove transport lock.Color and quality great!

The paint is thick and covers well

I recently had a bad experience with Valspar paint so was very happy to try this Glidden.First, since it will be shipped to you from Amazon, be prepared to struggle (maybe) a little with the rubber/plastic ring that has to be removed, placed there to protect the paint from spilling. I could not remove it! I used pliers, tried to cut it with wire shears, tried to pry it off--it wouldn't budge. However, my brother was able to remove it easily by grabbing and pulling :D - I know I was doing something wrong but I don't know what that was.The color goes on beautifully. I've not yet done the entire room--I'm painting my workout room, which is small enough for one gallon. It's over a white wall, so 1 coat would suffice, but I'll likely do 2.When it dries, there is a slight sheen to it, not much. I like that--I didn't want completely matte but I also don't like a glossy finish on my walls.Glides on smoothly. Looks pretty. I'd more call this Glidden Sage/French Gray Linen a light sage green, which is what I wanted. But in different light it of course takes on different hues so just be aware of that, and I like that as well. Usually, I use samples to see what color I want, but for my workout room I wasn't quite as picky, and this color will do beautifully. I won't have to put a lot of work in to painting the room. This paint goes on thick but dries quickly.So far I'm happy with the results. After I complete the entire room, if I have any problems, I will be back to report that.The price is reasonable for what you are receiving. A little on the upper end, but you are paying for a better quality paint. Just note that if you are painting with darker colors, especially red, you will want to prime your walls first anyway. At least this is what I was told AFTER I painted a wall red. But with these lighter colors, as this one is, you should be able to paint away without priming--I don't know if you are painting over a dark wall with a lighter color; you may want to prime anyway, but I think some other reviewers had a good experience not priming over a dark wall.This will be my first Glidden experience. If when complete my wall looks good, feels good, and washes well, etc, I will move from Valspar to Glidden!

I love the paint, the color, the coverage, but a quart isn't going to cover my walls. I got the quart to test it to see if I liked the paint quality and color. I love it. But now the color isn't available ANYWHERE. What good is it to offer paint in a quart then not have the color available through any supplier? Not happy with this at all Glidden. Hope I can get to a real store, like Walmart (which isn't a real paint store) and get it mixed to match. This doesn't make me happy at all.

Horrible packaging, most of the paint out of the cans is in the box.

I'm more than impressed at the quality, shade and packaging of my first online paint purchase. I'm an avid online shopper but successfully purchasing a paint I love online has taken me to a new level. I purchased Cocoon, a pale green that makes my livingroom feel more than inviting. It's a rich quality and looks very clean. I love it!
