You GET to discover the parts of yourself that need to be seen and heard. Those parts that lived through experiences you could not control travel with you in life, and help you make decisions. They ALL deserve this book! I must admit I love reading and spend about 20 minutes a day immersed. I read this amazing, informative and inspiring book twice! My copy is underlined and annotated. It isn't collecting dust on my shelf, and it will be shared with my young adult children. The journey of self-discovery often repeats itself as we venture through all life stages. There is something for everyone here. With each year of life, we get to grow stronger , wiser and more resilient. My husband and myself are now walking through midlife, and we are re-capturing the lessons provided in this book, as well as greeting our "new" and more self-assured selves. Dear future reader, please remember your mind is powerfully driving your actions, or preventing them. Are you ready for change? You deserve it! Grab your pencil a stack of sticky notes, a few minutes each day and dive in! As you complete this book, you will understand the "Three Players On The Field of Life." One of my favorite chapters. Remember this, your "Meaningful Mission" is to acknowledge your best self, but first you need to meet. Young adults will embrace this book as they benefit from this reminder, that there can be self -doubt if you compare yourselves with others and you may struggle and not notice your own greatness. The journey and the process is unique. I often recommended clients put any doubts or negative thoughts on trial. Lewis has a strategic way to help you through this process. We humans tend to internalize messages from others which become our inner voice. That voice can lead to doubts and fear. Lewis Howes provides a shiny new toolbox to help alleviate challenges and doubt. These tools guide the reader to become more in charge of themselves. This information is yours to keep in the back of your mind. It becomes an instruction manual. Keep it in the library of your brain. Lewis Howes also includes important points and quotes in his text which you will find inspiring. Consider these lessons the new whispers in your ear to replace any self-doubt and those that will launch you forward! These are the messages we all need! Lewis Howes brilliantly provides this book as a tour guide to a renewed "self" as a safe companion where you can explore where you learned to block and prevent your own progress. It's format is simple and easy to read. Here, all the parts of you are welcome and there are small areas of personal development where you can document and have further awareness.
