I got this to have an easy way for my 13 year old to clean her Invisalign retainers. It is so easy to use, she does it multiple times a day! It also has a very straightforward design, so it’s near impossible to not understand how to use it! It has different time settings, all at a simple button press right on the front that’s labeled. Multiple timers is great for a quick clean after eating or a longer one at night or in the morning. I also loved that it comes with the UV light for disinfecting as well. It will also help the retainers last longer without the scratching that can come from traditional cleaning. Amazing to not have to keep buying the cleaner that you add to water for soaking either! It’s small and was easy to travel with. Came with a little basket for cleaning jewelry items and things like that, but I have not personally used that. We have used it daily, multiple times a day, for 2 months now and it’s had zero issues. All around this cleaner is exactly what I was looking for. Great price, works well, and easy for a teenager to continue to use. I will for sure be getting another one when my other child needs it.

This ruined a $3000 mouth guard. I did not realize that this causes the water to get very hot if you leave it in for too long. I put the mouth guard in for 4 min and the water was super hot and the mouth guard shrunk slightly and is no longer useable.

Works as advertised! I accidentally tried cleaning my Invisalign liners with my electric toothbrush and it totally ruined them. They started getting hard, white build up on them and started tasting and smelling bad. I tried all kinds of solutions to clean them and nothing worked. So I finally bought this ultrasonic cleaner and with the first use it got rid of almost all of it! It definitely got rid of the yellowing too so now they actually look invisible when I wear them. Although I think my aligners are too far gone, they still get cleaner with each use. I do use a cleaning tablet I purchased separately for extra cleaning power every now and then but it doesn’t seem necessary. I used it on my husband’s night guard as well and his is sooo much cleaner, almost brand new. It’s sleek, easy to use, lightweight and compact, fits perfectly on my small counter. It’s a bit louder than expected but only slightly louder than my electric toothbrush. Versatile as I even used this in my wedding rings and it cleaned off so much gunk!

I’ve been wearing a retainer since my braces were removed and I’ve never been able to keep it consistently clean without brushing it. I thought I would try this device and see if it helped and it’s made a huge difference. I take it out in the morning, run it, then run it again before I put them in before bedtime. I’ve been using it consistently for a few weeks now and it’s gotten rid of all the plaque, there’s no smell, the timing settings are super easy to use. The only annoying thing is that the top comes off easily and the buttons are touch so you can accidentally turn it on again. Overall though, great value for it and it does the job very well. I got the white one; it’s a cute little appliance.

Gave this 4 stars, as there are 4 main (albeit pretty minor) things that annoy me about the design. 1) The inner metal gets very hot when it runs. This also heats the water up. The water doesn't quite get hot enough mess with my 3M aligners unless I run it for the max time. 2) Slightly related to #1: It allows you to run it without water. One morning when I was half awake, I forgot to load it with water when cleaning my aligners. This caused my aligners to slightly melt and change shape, which would have been awful if I wasn't on the last scheduled day of those aligners -- I just swapped to the next cycle of aligners a day early, but learned my lesson here. It would be great if the cleaning pod prevented you from running it without water in it. 3) The instructions mention to be very careful about getting water in the rear power port. The design makes it easy for water to run down the side and into the port -- this could have easily been avoided by adding a slight bump, ridge, or some other design pattern to divert water away from the port if it were to flow over the top. 4) The cleaning pod runs off of electricity from the wall, but you have to charge the UV light topper separately. I would have much preferred to have them attached to each other and have the UV light also run off of wall power, even if that meant the machine had to be slightly bigger. I'm considering getting a (admittedly more expensive) alternative to this machine that addresses all my above concerns. But, for the price, this one works just fine.

The pros of this unit are that it’s priced way less than other name brands and is relatively small and easy to use with the digital display and buttons. It does help with cleaning retainers, just make sure to use a longer cycle time for tough and large spots. I used the six minute duration in the photo. The provided brush is helpful to get those spots. Also, if you run it for six minutes or longer, the water gets really warm, so be careful. The provided tweezers are helpful for removing. I would say the noise isn’t too bad, a bit shrill, but not overly loud, especially if it’s in another room while you do something else. Other reviewers have also noted that the separate UV lid takes a bit of getting used to. You have to turn it on by holding the top button for several seconds and it doesn’t automatically turn off with the cleaning cycle so if you leave it, it’ll just run for a long time. The lid also needs to be charged separately, so it’s not plugged into power like the base unit. Definitely useful for occasional disinfecting which is what it seems to be designed for. Overall, this is useful for light and daily cleaning and works well for what it was designed to do

I bought this in December of 2024. It just stopped working now, so it lasted 15 months. It actually hasn't stopped working fully, but the vibrating noise it used to make is now much louder and the water in it doesn't vibrate in the same way, so it no longer cleans. I paid $42 dollars for it. It worked very well when it worked but I would have hoped that it would last longer than this.

The product arrived quickly and looks exactly like on the photo. I haven't tried it as it has been meant as a gift, so I can't rate the quality of the product, but I have interacted with the seller and he is very reliable and kind.

DO NOT BUY!! We used this 3 times and were very careful as the reviews mentioned issues with water getting inside the metal connectors etc. we only used filtered water, carefully cleaned and dried it each time, but last night when putting in my son’s retainers, it started as normal then started making a very weird noise. We immediately unplugged it but the damage was done. There was a smell of burnt plastic and smoke and something side was completely fried. It is a horribly designed product! Was bought as a Christmas gift but now we can’t return it as the window closed on Christmas Eve. Do not waste your money. Heed all the advice in previous reviews that this is a very unreliable product. Way too expensive for something that will break after only a few uses. Complete junk!
