I am giving a FOUR star rating only because Dr. Marten does not offer half sizes. I live in the country and about the only choice are Romeo style boots, which do not fit my feet and I hate the tags. I gambled on these shoes to do hiking in the Missoula Flood areas, mostly desert and rocky terrain and I believe they will hold up well.
