SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class QLED 4K QN85D Series Mini LED, Neo Quantum HDR Smart TV w/Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound Lite, Real Depth Enhancer Pro, Alexa Built-in (QN55QN85D, 2024 Model)

I bought this as a replacement for the 55" version that I purchased a year prior. I decided the 55" was a bit small for our den, and the 65" is perfect. I think the picture quality is outstanding. I read the viewing from a side angle is not ideal, but it looks fine to us. The interface functionality is improved over our older 55", with no lagging. I generally rely on an external Roku box four out TVs to stream, but not with this TV since the interface performs very well. I don't think one can go wrong with a Samsung TV, although there are cheaper options with same if not better quality. But I knew Samsung is a safe bet.

Ive had a great experience with this tv so far. I use it often for streaming and PS5 gaming. Amazon’s delivery service was also great and well worth paying for. Picture quality on the tv is great. I use a soundbar so I can’t really rate the quality of the speakers. The tv is definitely better for a room that is a little darker. Blooming is pretty minimal with local dimming set to high. I own both the QN85D and QN85C. They definitely made a few improvements to this model, including making the base easier to put on. Overall, highly recommend.

We only received this TV today, but so far it is meeting all expectations. The 5 stars is for the TV. I would give the delivery, unpack and place a 2. If your Prime membership gives you FREE Deluxe Delivery and Set up, go ahead and get it. If you have to pay for it, DON’T risk your funds. We were thrilled to get the delivery and unpack because both myself and my husband have physical limitations and we knew we couldn’t handle lifting and unboxing. Not only was our delivery delayed over a week, they sent only one contractor who could barely get it up our steps. He partially set it up but would not lift it onto our console table. He said his company (must be an outside contractor as he was not driving anything marked as Amazon) did not allow them to lift the tv again once it was verified as being in good condition because there had been multiple instances of damage on their part from damaging items. The box clearly indicated that 2 people were required for set up. Additionally, because the safety packaging couldn’t be removed before the tv was set in place, we were left with a TV neither of us could lift and, once we got other family to disrupt their day to assist, bulky packaging left over to dispose of. In short, Amazon needs to do a better job of making sure their outside contractors are fully aware of what Amazon expects and holding those contractors accountable. The contractor who came was efficient and helpful but he needed a second person to assist. Don’t pay for this option unless you have a backup plan.

Bought from and shipped by Amazon. Amazon Prime delivery and Amazon Prime return were 5 star. Because of the likelihood of needing to return this TV, this should be kept in mind. For the same reason, consider taking detailed pictures of how the TV is packed when unpacking it. In particular, take pictures of how the two parts of the stand are placed in the styrofoam packing. Also, pay close attention to how the stand goes together. In returning it, you will need to disassemble the two pieces, and this can be difficult to do. Of course, save the box and all the packing material. Problems From Day One: Bluetooth audio lag: this problem was constant, though it varied in severity. Blurring, staccato picture: Example: A race car quickly moving down a racetrack and filmed through the windshield: the road in front of the car was a blurry, muddy mess, only having clarity farther in the distance. Example: People twirling flags. The flags had a distracting, strobe like jump throughout the movements. Remote Control: The remote in size, shape and color very much resembles an Amazon Fire Stick remote. However, whereas the Fire Stick remote feels solid and well-made, the Samsung remote because it has no batteries and is solar powered, feels flimsy. Using it, it feels not at all durable and feels like it will break with normal usage. Dead by Day Seven: With hardly more than 12 hours of use during the first week, the TV simply and completely died. Returned thereafter.

Excellent tv great quality .great responce time gaming .colors are excellent . picture is crisp . i used the Rtings settings for calibration but i used warm 1 ,warm2 is just to yellow for my liking but im happy i made the purchase

I have owned many tvs and I believe this is probably the best one yet. It takes a little while or at least it did for me to figure out most things about it. I am still doing that even after a couple months. Great color. It works well in my living room that is bright in day time. Just what I was looking for.

The TV was delivered and setup in perfect condition. Beautiful picture and seamless integration with our samsung phones and fridge with family hub. PS5 pro looks and plays amazing, and XBOX streaming is built in so it's like having both consoles. Streaming works smoothly on all major accounts. Has gaming mode to up response time and frequency for the PS5 Pro that kicks in automatically. Was able to connect xbox controllers via Bluetooth and stream on Gamepass without buying another console!
