Yes, they work great with dress shoes. I'd say about the standard thickness of dress socks but with all the benefits of Darn Tough. I wear them regularly with Vans, boots, and dressier shoes (Allen Edmonds).

They are generally sold by the pair for about $27. There are a few that are sold by the 6 pack for over $100.
