Having bpught this item and did not see any reference to ot only fitting power trim mptors i decided to modify it yo fit my Sib and the 15 hp motor on it an easy convetsion which works exceedingly well when trailer mounted good product definately reccommended

It comes with a rubber bungee that may or may not be the right size for your motor. Cheap to remedy. Otherwise, well constructed, easily installed, easy to use. No complaints.

I bought this transom saver about a month ago and have used it several times so far when towing my inflatable boat on a jet ski trailer with a 95-lb 20hp motor on the transom. It has worked great and provided additional stability for the motor and transom during trips to the local boat launch. The plastic holders are probably just fine for the lower part of the motor to rest on, but I decided to add some padding on the surfaces the outboard contacts, which was purely a personal preference. The provided bungee cord helps keep the motor in place on the saver and can be tied on itself in a knot if it needs to be sized down.
