Applies easily (I had to use a stencil brush to "paint" around the canvas and soles of the shoes I had bought this specifically for - worked well). The color is DEFINITELY (as described) NAVY blue - a "deep" blue. Though I should have gone with a "medium" blue for the pair of shoes I had bought this for, I'm satisfied with the final product. One thing that I noticed about this product (vs. shoe polish that I have used in the past) - the cream, when hardened, effectively creates a "shell", akin to applying a fresh coat of paint to previously painted surfaces.
