Both my dogs love to play with this toy! It is pretty sturdy too. My only complaint is that once they catch the fleece part, they trap that part under their paw and immediately start to chew on the cord where it attaches to the fleece part. So far it is holding up, but I figure that is the weakest feature.

So far this dog toy is amazing! Completely wears out our Australian shepherd. She’s in nap mode after 10 minutes of chasing this thing around.

If you have a dog breed that loves to chase or herd this is an ideal tool to use for play time and training. I purchased this one based on another's recommendation for our mini Aussie because other poles I was researching didn't seem to match the quality and price point I was willing to pay. Getting this pole has been a game changer for our pup. It is sturdy and well made; the flannel lure is brightly colored, easy to wash when needed in the washer on gentle cycle, and hang to dry. The lure can start to unravel but tying knots at the end of the lure works well and doesn't negatively impact the level of play. The bungee cord is solid and a good length although my husband would have liked to have an extension to make it even longer. We have used this both indoors and outdoors by changing the lures. Our pup prefers the orange and yellow lure more than the red and purple colored one. So, if you have a high energy dog, this pole will help them expend lots of their energy. This is a product worth investing in to build a great bond with your dog at playtime or training.

Easy to assemble and my dogs love playing with it! The only downside is that it can be quite a workout for your arm since it’s a bit heavy.

Love this! I've never used one before.. my puppy is 5mo old and wanted something besides a ball to play with outside. She was a bit weirded out at first, but that lasted only a few minutes. She still loves playing with it every time I bring it out. It's pretty long and very durable, we've only used one extension. unlike a rope or other toy, it keeps your hands safe from those shark teeth! Be careful if they shake it, a few times she smacked herself in the head with the tip of it! The video was the first time she ever played with it.

So we have a 140 lb English mastiff and a 25 lb corgi. The previous flirt like we purchased from a different brand did not last very long. It felt cheaply made. I could immediately tell the difference in quality between the old one and this new one, it is very sturdy and the handle has some weight too it. The rope to connect the toys is also made better. Our pups love this thing! They have high prey drive fifteen to twenty minutes of this and they are ready to take a nap. I love it because it’s to hot to take them for a long walk and this burns some of that energy that tends to get them in trouble if not managed 😂

First the good stuff about this toy for our dog: •Our terrier puppy looks forward to playtime with this toy. She loves to chase it around and has great aim in catching it. • It is very engaging and allows us to give her the play she needs as long as she has energy. The only downsides for the human are not too bad: • The connecting screw in section comes undone as it is used, and you must check to tighten again so it does not fall apart in use. • Our seven month old Wheaten Terrier (who is 13 lbls, and catching up on growing after a PRAA surgery to correct an issue for her megaesophagus) is able to put a paw down on the toy and it making it hard to gently pull it away from her for more play.

My GSD mix is generally a pretty low energy/quiet dog. I take this out the backyard with him and bam all of a sudden he's an acrobat that runs and chases like I've never seen him before. It holds up surprisingly well and feels very sturdy. He has been able to rip off piece of cloth from the rope but overall it's doing well against his biting and pulling. Honestly its a lot of fun to play with and feels safer for you and your dog since you keep further distance than a normal tug toy.

Pole is heavy duty, everything looks well made. Unfortunately my dogs not into it.
