Definitely room darkening and keeps room cool. It does dampen sounds from outside for light sleepers. Like the screw mechanism to put up makes removal easy. The picture looks great too!!

Excellent product with great construction. Very easy to install. Thick and works well in sound proofing. I really like the included screw and nicely well thought out knobs. Provides a quality professional installation. Amazingly packaged. Be sure and follow instructions and it makes a great addition to a recording studio where some cool art work is desired.

This covers a lot of area which means it absorbs a lot of sound to help deaden a room where you are recording. A lot of people who record or broadcast from home could really use something like this to keep their recordings from sounding like they are in a bathroom. This covers a lot of area from floor to ceiling. An added benefit is it provides a decent background if you are on camera. It's also relatively compact if you're traveling and need to acoustically treat a hotel room to do recordings on the road.

If you’re like me and think maybe the back side of this thing is just black fabric - you’re in luck! It is! So you can hang it backwards and just buy whatever print is cheapest. That would be wonderful if it worked. It’s very open/thin foam in a very thin pillow case. It does nothing it is supposed to do. Further, no grommet holes at either end. So you cant hang it.
