Can I continue using the existing dirt this year?** A: Sure. It saves you money, there is no need to change the potting soil every year. Some people just add a little more soil because it will break down over time. I've used mine since 2019 and everything has been growing just fine for me. **Q: Is it best to use potting soil or garden soil with these ? I plan on using them for flowers** A: I would recommend using the best soil type for the plants you plan on placing in them...potting soil would probably be better for plants in a contained environment but check with your local gardening shop or nursery for the best advice. **Q: Has anyone found a plant dolly that will hold the junior plant bag when it is filled so that it is easy to move around?** A: The bag is not watertight so you would have to containerize the whole bag in order to move it and not have water leaking out. Mine have become fairly immovable since roots have grown thru the bag bottom **Q: Can I grow a grafted hass avocado tree in here? In one of the bigger sizes** A: Planting trees usually recommend to plant as deep as the root ball. I guess if the root ball isn't over the depth of the sides it may work. Roots will probably want to break through bottom. Might just want to plant in a raised bed to allow roots to go as deep as needed and can make bed as deep as needed to plant. Sides of raised bed would be more sturdy and would allow for more soil if needed as well as mulch.
