So far so good! It takes a little getting used to, but is very comfortable. Has helped my stiff neck a lot.

I am writing this review after having used the Donama pillow for around 10 weeks now. I had been suffering from severe neck pain for several weeks and would wake up with painful spasms several times every night. I was actively searching for a solution that could help alleviate the pain. I had previously tried a water pillow, which helped somewhat but wasn’t quite right for me long term. While searching for a potential solution, I came across the Donama Cervical Pillow and decided to give it a try, drawn in by its ergonomic contour and memory foam design. After using it consistently for a few weeks, I can confidently say that this pillow has made a vast improvement in both my sleep quality and neck pain. I no longer wake up feeling stiff or sore, and I genuinely feel more rested. This has been a better solution for me than the water pillow I had used before. Below are the pros and cons I observed: Pros: 1. Ergonomic contour design provides excellent neck and shoulder support, especially for chronic pain. 2. High-quality memory foam feels both supportive and pressure-relieving. 3. Works well across different sleep positions—back, side, and stomach. 4. The included pillowcase is soft, breathable, and easy to wash. 5. No unpleasant odor out of the box (a common issue with other memory foam pillows). Cons: 1. The unique shape may take a few nights to get used to, especially if you’re switching from a traditional pillow. 2. It has a shape that is different from standard pillows and hence may not fit all pillowcases snugly. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. The advantages far outweigh the minor adjustments, and for anyone dealing with neck pain or poor sleep posture, I’d highly recommend giving this pillow a try. It’s been a game-changer for me.

When I first started using this pillow, I honestly felt some discomfort — it was hard, a bit awkward, and even made my neck hurt for the first few nights. Before using this pillow I was struggling finding the right position to place my head for sleep. It felt like with every way I lay my head down, the next morning I'd wake up with a stiff neck and aches. I gave this pillow a try and it shapes your head into a neutral position whether if you're a side sleeper or back sleeper. A while later those aches went away and I started having more peaceful rests at night. I love the cover it comes with also, very soft. However I haven't used other pillow covers on this due to the shape of the pillow. I just washed the original cover each time but within time I noticed the cover starting to deform and some parts got loose strands now. I know it can be a bummer but I'm more focused on the functionality to be honest. As long as the pillow doesn't loose its structure like ordinary pillows do, I'm fine without the original cover, it can be replaced easily. I just loved the softness to it. Lastly, I wouldn't really recommend for a belly sleeper due to the way the pillow is molded.

I waited 2 weeks to write a review to test the pillow. I am 56 yrs old and I have been waking up with neck pain for a long time...I have tried all kinds of different pillows. I looked at so many of these and saw all the reviews and decided to try it. I have to say that it works amazing! I have not woke up with neck pain at all. It contours perfectly for your neck and spine. I prefer sleeping with the big end instead of the smaller end. I put my own pillow case over it, just because I sweat (menopause). I highly recommend this product! It does work and it does make a huge difference in my neck.

I have found that this pillow has helped to reduce the neck and shoulder pains I experience; they have been significantly better since I started using it (I have had it for about a month now). Though I did find it took a little while to get used to (in fact, I am still getting used to it). In particular, the top section, which is a curvy shape used when sleeping on your side, could be wider - the parts used for sleeping on your back and on your side are a bit squished together. I have found that it is very comfortable for sleeping on your back, but not quite so much for sleeping on your side (which I prefer). I think it would also be good if there was an option to purchase a fitted pillow protector and additional pillowcases. Overall, though, I have found it to reduce the pains I have been experiencing in my neck and shoulders.
