My hair is semi-wavy, very fine, and thick. When I originally ordered this, I somehow thought that it was a curling mousse, which I soon realized was not true after attempting a curling routine.Since then, I've been experimenting with different ways to use this. Generally, my favorite use has been to apply a small amount throughout my hair (typically along with a leave-in conditioner) and then thoroughly blow dry. I have been able to notice slightly smoother, less poofy and frizzy hair.Now, the big question: is it actually worth the larger price tag, especially for such a small bottle?For my personal hair type, probably not. I mean, don't get me wrong, it DOES work, but the results aren't really that dramatic. It's not some sort of magical formula that solves all of my hair problems. Sure, it helps, but not any better than a $5-$12 drugstore mousse.I'm not leaving a negative rating for several reasons. First of all, my hair type could be COMPLETELY different from yours, meaning your results could be completely different. A lot of people seem to love this stuff, so maybe I'm just unlucky. Another reason is because a lot of hair products leave fine hair (like mine) feeling and looking really dirty after use. That wasn't the case with this at all, so I am impressed. Someone who is struggling to find a mousse that actually works at all with their hair might say that it's absolutely worth the price.Anyways, that's my two cents.

The smell of this is amazing for starters. Its like you feel like you are at the beach and your hair feels like a nice beach air day after using this product. It immediately transformed my straight flat hair into a nice textured volumed beach wave hair with a few pumps!

This smells good, it’s lightweight and doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy or greasy. It’s not a thick creamy mousse , it’s airy and dissolves easily. It doesn’t leave residue behind unless you don’t follow the directions and use too much product. I made the mistake of adding a good amount directly to my scalp and it foamed up like soap suds in my wet hair. I was hard to get it to spread and dissolve but that was my fault. Don’t make the same mistake, follow the directions.The next time I used it, I added a small pump to my hands and rubbed it together then distributed throughout my damp hair from root to end and is spread easily and didn’t leave residue behind.It adds good volume when I use a blow dryer but that doesn’t last long, my hair flattened after a short period of time.I used it again and let my hair air dry this time and it didn’t add volume to my roots but it helped with adding more texture and some volume to my hair while adding shine when it dried. My hair felt soft and smooth but it also looked a little frizzy. I didn’t use any other product when trying this other than shampoo and conditioner so it may help if I use hair oil etc. to tame it better. the frizz wasn’t bad though, just some frizz.It’s good but I have a different brand I prefer that adds volume that lasts throughout the day.For reference, I have naturally wavy, thick and fine hair.This mousse is supposed to be for fine hair so it might work best if your hair is thin.

This mousse left my wife's hair feeling sticky and frizzy. The only thing that she did like was the smell.

I have fine, thin hair. I need to use product if I want any sort of style at all, but many just weigh my hair down. This mousse doesn't. It's very lightweight. I could barely feel that there was any product in my hair while I was blow drying it. No sticky or crunchy feeling.I mostly try for some lift at the roots, and this mousse did help with that. It also left my hair fluffier and soft. It also helped with fly-aways. This is a great mousse for when you need just a bit of help with your style. While it does hold somewhat, it's not for heavy duty styles by itself. I've found it fab for quick, everyday styling.

I love love love this mousse. It holds so well even in the high humidity of East Texas. I feel like this product disperses really evenly in my hair, and I really like how easy it is to work into my hair. With it, I can create marked volume at my roots that looks natural and feels great. My hair is so soft when I use this mousse and not crunchy at all. My curls are bouncy and not weighed down. It has a noticeable scent in the bottle but once it has dried in my hair, the scent is faint - it's vaguely clean and tropical. Overall I'm really happy with this mousse, and I can see it becoming a regular product that I use.

This definitely adds volume to my hair. With long hair, it's so easy for it just to look and feel flat when not styled up in a hairdo, so this makes it look and feel fuller. It's very light, so it doesn't weigh my hair down. My hands felt a bit sticky after applying, but that usually happens with mousses that I've used. It didn't dull my hair or leave it feeling crunchy at all, which I liked.I'm not usually a fan of fragrances, but this scent is light, floral, airy, and really pleasant to smell. It could even be a bit stronger and I'd be happy. It might actually be too light for a scented product. Overall, I really like what this does for my hair, and will happily continue to use it.

I haven't used a ton of styling products in the past, because I hate when they leave my hair crunchy and gross feeling.. but I can happily say that wasn't the case with this! My hair feels just as soft as normal, but I definitely saw a subtle volume boost.The bottle is on the small to medium side in terms of size, but just one pump of mousse went a long way. It smells clean and refreshing, and, although it left my hands a little sticky at first, I didn't notice any stiffness or unnatural feeling to my hair. The volume wasn't dramatic, but I definitely saw some, and think if I tried harder I could probably achieve more.Overall, I'm a fan!
