For the price this is a very good bit of kit.Powerfull enough to cut through some quite thick branches quickly and with ease.The battery lasts ages regardless of how hard the task at hand.It's quite heavy with battery so it's tricky to get balance when using fully extended and can take a bit of getting use to, but in fairness I haven't used a wide selection of such tools.The safety button is a little tricky as it has to be kept pressed whilst using but you get the hang of it quickly.The build quality is also very good and looks like it will survive a hard working life !Overall very pleased, performs well thus generally good value for money.

The saw rotates correctly when using it without the extension, but when you attach the extension the chain rotates in the opposite direction (ie on the bottom it rotates away from the body) and therefore does not cut - design fault??

Does the job. Has its limits, but more than good enough for the price. Battery life surprisingly good.

Useful to have something like this to save me having to get up on a ladder to prune apple trees. Battery life is good. Happy to have bought it.

Brilliant tool

Firstly the saw works fine…. But. Where do I buy a spare chain? Amazon don’t seem to have the right size so I rang Netta. They cut me off before I could speak to them. I emailed them . One week later, still no answer. Absolute waste of time. Is customer service just a joke now? There’ll be no more dealings with them . I’ll just speak to Amazon. I’m not confident of success.

Have not used this saw for more than about one hour. Hence cannot comment on reliability or durability. It is well made using a mix of metal and plastic parts. Extending the pole or separating the saw from the pole is easy enough. As a pruning tool for branches up about three inches in diameter it is very good. The oiling system can be a little messy.The user manual is poor. Half the manual deals with safety as if this saw would cut down large trees. My hedge trimmer is a much more dangerous tool. Nothing in the manual about the battery, not even a sketch. The plastic cover for the chain is a close fit, it might get damaged by the saw teeth. The cleaning details are incomplete. On reassembly of the chain and chain guide it is vital that these parts lay properly flat against the back plate. It can be a bit fiddly. Make sure on completion of reassembly that the red cover retention knob aligns to its original starting position. As far as I can see the chain tension is not adjustable; nothing in the manual. When pole mounted and you want to stand the saw down take care you do not bang and damage the battery. Unless you have strong arms and intend using the saw at max pole extension you will benefit having a shoulder strap. there is an attachment point on the pole. Finally do not use this tool without wearing adequate eye protection. CORRECTION. The chain tension is adjustable. But no details in the User Manual. To oil the chain depress the oiler button from its top. Results can be a bit hit and miss.. Never use the saw without the chain is well oiled.
