My wife has skin reactions from costume jewelry, so this was a hit or miss, but luckily she has had no issues with this one. The pearl is her birthstone, so that was a plus to getting this, and the chain is holding up well. It makes for a beautiful accent to compliment any look, and the price is fair for what you get. I'd highly recommend this for a gift as well.

I love this combination of pearl and silver! This necklace is lovely. Very feminine. Very dainty but with a sturdiness that is appealing. Inside of a silver (925) heart is a pearl. It is hanging on a sterling silver necklace that is durable and closes with a traditional (spring) clasp. The heart is accented with small, tiny clear stones. I noticed no irritation (i.e., redness or itching) after wearing, so if you are sensitive to certain metals, I think it will work for you. I think it will also appeal to women of all ages, not to mention it makes a nice gift (i.e., Valentine’s, Mother’s, Christmas or Birthday). I’d recommend it.
