Her Soul for Revenge: A Spicy Dark Demon Romance (Souls Trilogy)

I love that this is a parallel timeline as Her Soul to Take, and I feel like I fell in love all over again. The main characters have impossibly great chemistry and the spice is seriously out of this world! I feel like I love Zane more after reading from his perspective, and really felt like I was reading a different story so there was not one second that was feeling like it was repetitive. I love the characters individually - Juniper the strong bada$$ survivor and Zane the sarcastic brooding bad boy with a surprising softness for Juniper and even more reading them together. Their dynamic makes this story so incredible and the pacing kept me turning the pages. This book (and book 1) absolutely checked all the boxes for me and has made Harley a new favorite author!

This book was insane! I love spicy romance and I love dark romance! This was a perfect mix of both! The amount of twists and turns in this one was perfect and made for a perfect book two to a trilogy! I love that we learned more about the other characters that were present in book one. The storyline is incredible!

Her Soul to Take blew my mind when I read it two months ago. To say my expectations were high for Her Soul For Revenge would be an understatement. Laroux absolutely nailed this story to perfection. She had already laid a pretty solid foundation with book 1 and I was one hundred percent invested with these characters and in this paranormal world of hers. In Her Soul For Revenge it’s the survivor Juniper and her journey for revenge the reader follows. She sells her soul to the demon Zane for the purpose of him helping her getting revenge over those people who’s wronged her. There’s a price for making a deal with a demon and Zane has his conditions. He and Juniper were so much fun. Blazing hot chemistry and spectacular sex scenes. I thought the ones in book 1 were amazing but Laroux takes it up a notch. Chef’s kiss! They suited Juniper and Zane’s personality and they had to be dark, bloody and intense. Most important they’re consensual. Her Soul For Revenge is dark paranormal and it’s definitely dark but it’s also emotional. Laroux strips the layers of Juniper and Zane meticulously . Juniper is broken and has endured so much loss and pain. She’s a survivor and a fighter. Living a solitary life until her deal with Zane. Her progress and evolution was sublimely written. How can a demon be vulnerable and show emotions? Zane can and do thanks to Laroux. Zane goes through a change too and I enjoyed his sarcastic remarks, dark dominant side but also him being vulnerable and turning the power over to Juniper in their relationship. These two opposites truly saw each other, was accepting and it was beautiful. With Her Soul For Revenge I can already say that The Souls trilogy is a favorite of mine. This is just dark paranormal erotica to perfection. Phenomenal. Whenever I hear the word demon I will always think of a forked pierced tongue. No complaints here. 5 Fierce as a Little Wolf Stars

Her Soul for Revenge by Harley Laroux is another absolute banger of a book. I loved everything about Juniper and Zane's story. Juniper is such a strong and badass FMC and the perfect partner for Zane. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. AND THE SPICE. You seriously can't get enough of the spice in this book. That chemistry that I mentioned before definitely translates into the spice. Trust me. Her Soul for Revenge is best read after Her Soul to Take due to it happening on the same timeline. While this book happens on the same timeline as Her Soul to Take it still keeps you hooked with how different Juniper and Zane's experiences are compared to Leon and Rae in book one. I highly recommend this one to anyone searching for a spicy dark romance that will keep you entranced the entire time.

Holy hell. Harley Laroux did it again. I was convinced Leon was the love of my life, but Zane came in and absolutely ruined me in the best way. Zane is something else. This book is something else. He and Juniper are deliciously sick, beautifully unhinged, and I loved every second of it. Their love doesn’t come from fixing each other, it comes from seeing the damage and choosing it anyway. Especially Zane. He never once makes Juniper question her brokenness. He reveres it. “Fix you? Ah, little wolf, I have no desire to fix you. I just want to see all your broken edges shine. I want to feel how sharp you are.” That line alone lives rent free in my soul. This book gave me everything I wanted and everything I didn’t know I needed. Dark, intense, raw, and painfully intimate. Closing it felt like exhaling after holding my breath for too long. Honestly, it made me feel a little better about being broken myself. Ah! To have a love so deep it encompasses all your broken pieces? I don’t know if it is possible to have anything better than that. I have a lot of fictional pairings that I have fallen in love with over the years. Juniper and Zane may have them beat. A true partnership of ‘I have your back and you have mine’. Juniper’s strength in the face of such trauma, is unimaginable. Definitely a recommend for me and a story I’m sure to revisit.
