I potted a nepenthes cutting, that was rooting in a plastic cup filled with rainwater, into this media. Within a week, a leaf was starting to develop a "monkeycup" at its end. The mix of various ingredients obviously "works" for my cutting! Would HIGHLY recommend!

This was excellent and my plants are looking amazing! It was super hydrophobic at first, so I had to massage the water into it. However, most seed starters are like that, so it wasn't an issue for me. It just smells like normal seed starting mix. It is a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it has worked better than the others I've tried. However, there were a lot of long coco strands that were kind of annoying and I wish the worm castings were more fine. Some of the chunks needed to be broken up and mixed back in. For those 2 reasons, I've deducted a star. Other than those things, I really like the mix.

Yes it’s dusty but all soil is! Get past the dusty and open it outside and it will be the best carnivorous plant soil you can buy pre made. Great for your very first start into the carnivorous plants!

I planted some tomato, oregano and basil and they all grew out fast and healthy. This mix is really great for germinating seeds.

I’m very happy with this potting soil. I have 30 seedling pots growing right now with excellent germination. This is the best soil I have purchased on amazon.
