High quality and a good product. The floaties stay attached and upright, keeping kids afloat while they learn to swim. This is our second set of Otter Wings. After having no issues with the first set, the second set developed a slow leak after a few weeks. I contacted the company and received a prompt response and free replacement set.

My 7 yr old son is a thin kid, 50 inches tall and just over 50 pounds (no matter how much he eats) and these JUST fit him. They definitely kept him afloat, but the shirt was just on the verge of not fitting. They will be great for the summer as he continues to learn to swim. If you want something less restrictive than Stearn’s chest and arm floats for a strong, but not-strong-enough-yet swimmer, these are perfect. When they say ages 4-6, though, I believe that’s accurate, as my son is thinner than typical 7 yr olds. Minus a star because shirt size and color options are limited. Suggest neons as you can spot your child better. If floats hold more than 60 pounds, make shirt in larger sizes.

I’ve been an Amazon customer since Amazon first launched 2 decades ago, and this is only the second time I’ve written a review. I am so thrilled by the existence of this product that I had to let other parents know. The Otter Wings shirt is a game changer for my 6-year-old son with autism. He cannot swim, but because of his sensory sensitivities, he has not tolerated any other flotation devices in the past, and we have tried them all! He loves to be in the water and is drawn to it, so safety is a big issue for us. We put the Otter Wings shirt on him for the first time today, and in seconds he was floating on his own with my husband beside him! The whole family was cheering we were so excited! Our son is used to tolerating a rash guard or swim shirt, so the addition of the water wings was perhaps less noticeable to him. What I really love about this product is that he can’t pull the water wings off as he’s done in the past because they’re clipped on to the sleeves of the shirt. Plus, the water wings are made from soft fabric, which is much easier to slide on and off and makes my son much less defensive from a sensory point of view. I will be buying these in every size until my son with autism learns to swim! Great find!

We love these. They allowed our son the freedom to play. When he wanted them off to practice, it was so easy. The sun protection was a bonus. The neutral design will grow with him. Great customer service. One of the floaties' blow up valves got a leak in it after our second swim. I emailed the company and they mailed us a replacement shirt and floaties within a few days. I highly recommend this product.

Great idea! Needs to use better material

Great product when they worked. Somehow ours started leaking air after just the first use so we were disappointed, but maybe we somehow damaged. I wish they would have lasted longer.

First, I realize these aren't coast-guard approved; however, something is better than nothing. Our family often visits a coastal town to go to a resort with a pool and beach. My four year old adores the beach but screams and cries about his life jacket. He can't move or do what he wants. We still make him wear that any time the ocean is involved, but for the majority of the time, we're spending it in the pool area. These water wings (excuse me, OTTER Wings) are amazing. They stay in place. He wears them! He begs to put them on so he can play in or around the water. He is learning how to swim confidently without feeling scared. These have honestly been a lifesaver and have made me (momma bear) feel less anxiety. THANK YOU for creating this product so I could have some peace of mind while helping my kiddo learn to swim.

These work just as expected. My son says they're comfortable and the elastic seems very strong.
