I had a worn bolt for a BMW. This gripped the bolt no problem. Build quality is great and functionality is straight forward . Easy to remove and the value for money is great as it comes with a lot more sizes. Know which size your tools are as this comes 1/2 or 1/4. Once the bolt is removed you just hit it with a hammer out of this item and it falls off. Saves you time and money. It would have caused me $150 at the bmw dealership. It cost me this item and bolts I bought on line and literally 5 mins. This product is recommended

I had bought a small blow torch to get some very nasty looking rusty rounded bolts off the bottom of my mower. Still couldn't budge them after heating them up with the torch so I grab one of these and they worked really well. I didn't even have to use the torch either, but make sure you tap them on so they are on the nut or bolt well enough to get a good grip to loosen them and take them off otherwise they can still slip a little. Once I tapped them on they worked very well. Happy with the quality and these are well made, silver sand blasted high hardness chrome Molybdenum steel from 3/4"/19mm to 5/16/8mm sizes.

I decided to start changing my own oil again for my car to try to save some money. I realized really quickly that the place i would usually go to get it done was insanely and excessively screwing the bolt in. I tried with all my force to get the bolt off but i could not get it to budge. I was trying so hard that the bolt was getting stripped. Thats when i found these and the grip i got from them made getting the bolt off possible. These are great quality and great price. I will be able to save money now because of investing in these. I highly recommend.

I had to use the biggest size and it barely fit. I was able to finally get it on my stripped lug nut and then get the wheel off. I use a 13/16 or 21mm size socket for my vehicle just in case someone needs to know this information.

Issue: 3rd Gen 4Runner ball joint bolt head was rounded due to how tight it was.Solution: WD-40 Alone did not work, so I purchased this and it worked!Sustainability: Keep the product!, in perspective you will spend more money paying someone to take a bolt off than if this product even messes up! but as of now I did not have that issue.

I was somewhat skeptical that these extractors would actually work because I had previously purchased a different larger size set that only rounded off a rusted bolt that had to be ultimately drilled out. As illustrated by the pictures I took these extractors bit down very well on the badly rusted and stripped bolt I needed to remove. After breaking the bolt free I was glad the extractor socket did not sustain damage. I did use a small torch to heat up the bolt prior to using the extractor but I’m really satisfied with how well it grabbed the damaged bolt and how it maintained its grip throughout the extraction. I think the case is well made and the latches are sturdy. Great price for all the sizes and extra accessories included in this set.
