As the construction is solid and rigid, it's not possible to make them smaller than their length and width. They're ideal if you want to leave them outside permanently.The loungers are made from a green moulded plastic, which seems durable and quite sturdy. Once placed in the garden, they should be stable and unlikely to be blown over by strong winds. There's a small wheel in each rear support strut, which makes them relatively easy to move around. They're fairly narrow and the back support frame has prefixed mouldings to allow adjustment to the angle. You have to stand up to adjust the back support. If you're buying lounger cushions, it's best to check the width measurement of these loungers to ensure you buy the right size cushion. These are narrow and wider cushions won't fit. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good *by A***E on 4 December 2013* Good, heavy n solid but a little bit disappointed as the backrest is not quite high enough to support my head properly when in the upright position and digs into the back of the neck. Still not a bad buy for the money though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just like those at our hotel in Greece! *by J***N on 7 June 2013* Well - what more can I say. A pair of sun loungers that are near identical to those used by the 5 star hotel we recently stayed in - to me that is a recommendation in itself. The beds are actually made in Spain (pity, we used to make these in the UK once). I note that most of the comments here are regarding damage in transit - in our case they were delivered within two days of ordering (on free delivery) and came straight out of the back of a van containing many more of the same - looked like it was direct from the factory. There was no unpacking involved and only a brief condition check needed (perfect) - in fact the driver offered to put them straight onto our patio ready for use (you have to be quick when the sun's out here!). Just lay out the beach towels and pour a nice drink......Highly delighted - and will not be afraid to leave them out during the winter. The beds are fitted with tiny castors at one end, which makes them easy to move around - though they are not heavy to lift and carry. Hopefully the UV resistant claim will hold good and they will not go brittle over time. Only marked down by one star as we feel that £160 for the two is on the high side for what are basic plastic sunbeds - though the head/backrest is adjustable to one of three angles.
