SauconyMen's Endorphin Speed 2 Running Shoe

Excellent
I was in the market for a fast pair of running shoes to replace my NB rebel V2 which I wasn’t completely sold on. After researching this category among the online sources available I decided to give these a go. I previously used saucony before so no stranger to the brand known for making good quality running shoes. Upon receiving them first off I was impressed with the overall quality. The fit was spot on and hugged my foot in all the right places. Enough room at the toes for when you push off, and the heel counter was a perfect fit. The new combination of foam that they use in sole produced a cushioned ride with plenty energy return. There was more pop in the legs when running. I imagine that the nylon plate has something to do with this. Also the rocker shape of the sole makes for a fast transition from heel to toe, much faster than my rebel V2. Although they are no racing flats they are light and they will probably become my racing shoe for my 5k runs. At this stage of my life I am no longer trying for PB. So a combination of cushioning and speed works for me. I admit I just received them so just a few miles on them . I will update review once I add miles. One last thing. Price wise they are up there but not comparable to carbon plate shoes which are very fast and VERY expensive. These are a notch down but that’s ok, they still put a smile on my face. And yes the color makes them faster.

FAST Low Drop Shoe for Training or Racing
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 2's have become one of my top 2 marathon training shoes. I love the look, fit, and most importantly, energy return I get on my runs.Compared to the Endorphin Shifts (my previous training shoes), these are lighter and more responsive, albeit a little less durable. I will usually use the Speeds for runs up to 13 miles, but switch to a more cushioned/durable training shoe for longer runs. Especially because these make me run faster than I usually aim for.I rotate 2 pairs for most of my training, and a day or 2 off will give the Speed 2s more longevity. At 350 miles, you can definitely feel a difference in cushioning and responsiveness, but they are still pretty good trainers for another 50 - 100 miles.I have an ENORMOUS foot (size 14) and the size is pretty true. If you have a wide foot like mine, you will want to loosen the tongue a bit and not tie these super tight as I have found that as my foot swells in the later miles, these will be a bit restrictive unless you plan ahead.

Mind blown🤯
Picture 1: Saucony Endorphin Speed IIPicture 2 : First run with Speed IIPicture 3: Previous two mile prior to shoes, roughly 2 weeks ago.First pair of plated running shoes I've ever used and I LOVE them. Did my research prior to purchase and decided to buy them.Initial Reaction: comfy and snug. When I first ran with them, I planned on running three miles. One for warm up and two for time. Let me tell you, when I started jogging, these shoes made me run. Instead of running the three miles, I ran the two for time. My first mile was my fastest ever and the second mile... Almost 40 seconds faster. Granted, there was an old man that saw me and gave me words of encouragement, but nevertheless, these shoes are a game changer.Cons: As other reviewers stated, feels a bit unstable, was hesitant when making sharpish turns at repetitively fast speed.Pros: Fast AF, makes you run, comfy and snug fit, cheap. Bought these, which were the cheapest color, for $80.Final Thought: Pros definitely outweigh the cons. Get your bang for your buck. Also has different color schemes for a little more cost. Would 100% purchase again.

Great shoes
My son runs cross country and mid/long distance track for his high school team. He has used these shoes for several years. He runs about 60-65 miles a week during the season so he is able to get about 300-400 miles on the shoes before they break down and need to be replaced. They have a nylon plate in the shoe which should help decrease strain on the lower legs to improve recovery. This is supposed to help improve your training tolerance. There is no magic pill though so you have to be a good athlete, have good coaching, nutrition, etc. They are not the current "super shoes" that Nike and a few other brands that have a carbon plate. Saucony does have a carbon plated shoe, but it costs a lot more. It's a good shoe and reliable company. I would definitely recommend this shoe for high level runners due to the cost.

Everything The SPEEDROLL Technology Promises
The Endorphin Speed 2 is one of the best, multipurpose running shoes available. It's light, responsive, fast, and surprisingly durable. This is my third pair, with the previous two doing fine with 400+ miles on them. Sadly, its successor, the Endorphin Speed 3 is a clunker. The SPEEDROLL feature is compromised by its wider footprint designed for stability. Guess what? Speed and stability are mutually exclusive. The 3 is lightweight, but the extra stability takes away the SPEEDROLL sensation. This can lead to injury because our feet and ankles are supposed to turn over.

Fast shoe
This is a shoe highly rated by many running editors reviews. I would agree in many ways. First, did a 2.5 mile run in the fastest time in over 75 attempts right out of the box. I didn’t feel like I was running fast but was really surprised with the end result. This shoe seems to pick up your legs and propel you forward. This really helps while running uphills. This shoe is true to size and the upper toe box is average width. I wouldn’t recommend this shoe for walking because the heel is a bit narrow which makes it a little unstable and it feels like the back of the insoles are lifting up due to the nylon plate. This shoe seems to excel while running because the instability seems to go away as well insole lift. Speed 3 is already out and heard they made the platform wider which solved the instability issues. Mainly going to use this shoe for 5k and 10k races. This is my very first Saucony purchase and really happy. My other shoe rotation consists of Brooks Glycerin 19 and Hoka Mach 4.

Great running shoes
These are light, comfortable and high quality. And despite what other reviews say they are fine for every day use. You can run slow pace just fine. They are no worse in the wet than any other shoes I have owned. They feel like a slight upgrade to my Brookes at a cheaper price. You won't find any better until you are in the £200+ range.
