I like my Lumie
I bought Lumie after returning a different brand that did tons of weird things but could not function as a bedside table lamp. This does that quite well. It goes from very, very dim to very bright easily. Programing is not too much trouble - a little old school - but not objectionable. Sound quality is great. Lots of wake-up options.

Nice for gentle wake up calls.
Make sure you face it for it to be it's most effective. Very good at waking you up gently. The manual can be a little dense, but it is very well made

Functional Improvements, Quality Build
I had previously purchased the Lumie Bodyclock Shine 300, and have been very happy with it. I wanted Bluetooth connectivity for my sleep meditation app, so I went ahead and ordered this Luxe Bodyclock. I immediately noticed the premium build quality compared to the previous version: weighted base, glass light, low blue light option, and easier to use knobs are all a plus. The only thing that I wish I could change would be the 24 hour time setting (you can’t change it to 12 hour AM/PM). A minor quibble, but overall an excellent purchase. No apps to download & no subscriptions to drain your wallet.
