I hardly ever write reviews hands down.This is the best. How's this was engineered and constructed, it's awesome. Extremely easy to assemble on the bicycle. It holds the phone extremely well. I've had other products like this, but this is the absolute best. It's very easy to put your phone on and remove. The price was extremely reasonable. This is not a flimsy, a phone holder. If you buy you will be happy.

Tried it out on my adventure motorcycle today, on smooth pavement and on bumpy gravel roads and trails. It worked perfectly. It stayed securely on my handlebars with no slippage; never had to adjust it. It also held my phone (a big, thick ruggedized one that I use as my GPS) securely. And there was no issue with vibration or screen readability. The mount design is brilliant: quick and easy, and makes a reassuring ratchet sound as you tighten and loosen. The ball joint gives me adequate articulation so I can point the screen where I need it, and then I screw it down tight with the locknut. The latch button to lock-in the phone makes a satisfying snap. And it's very light in weight. It really seems like a quality unit. If it holds up for many rides (while much of it is plastic, it looks like a tough nylon), then $9 makes it a great bargain. A YEAR LATER: I now own two of these, (one for each of my bikes) and buying a third. They fit on the handlebars of EVERY motorcycle I've ridden, from small enduros to big Harleys. I take one on every riding trip overseas, because I know it will fit on any handlebar, will stay on, and will hold my phone/GPS securely no matter what the terrain or road conditions.

I've had this item for about a week now and I have no complaints it does exactly what it is designed to do it holds the phone well in its one size fits all spring and lock system. The adjustable bars function perfectly and hold the phone firmly in the foam of the bars. It installs super fast and simple on any bar shaped item so I can see me using this in my art space so I don't have to carry my phone around or I can watch videos while I work with both my hands. There has been no issues with any wear or tear I will update in a month if that changes.
