This lamp is stunning and beautifully compliments our new ebonized baby grand. The unit is thoughtfully designed, sleek and simple; the brass accents are right on. Lighting is excellent; you can control intensity and separately direct the two lights to the keyboard and music panel. We bought the plug-in model. The unit is easy to assemble and fits perfectly on the panel. The attachment is felted with adjustable width for a firm fit. The dimmer can be attached to the thicker light wand with the rubber holder that is included (directions for this were not provided), safely securing the small dimmer accessory away from the working parts of the piano.

These were a perfect fit for our church organ and piano. The ladies love them.

This light looks great on my grand piano: it is graceful and has wonderful lines. It is easy to assemble and has really helped me see the notes more clearly. I would definitely get the hard-wired model. The dimmer works great as well. It took me a few days to figure out how high to set up the light. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the flexible arms but it's good to have the option of changing the height.

I ordered a similar looking piano light half a year ago and was immediately disappointed by the harsh quality of the light. This light is easy to assemble, is of good quality and feels sturdy, and casts a pleasant light across the entire open score, which you can adjust easily to brighter or dimmer illumination. If there is one thing I would wish to be more elegant, it would be the adjustable light dimmer, which hangs loosely behind the music stand. It's easy enough to adjust the light, but not from sitting position, and though not seen from the front, from other angles, looks a little bit sloppy. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this light.

The light is beautiful. But the instructions are minimal. They should, but do not, direct you to consult the video on the Cocoweb website. My husband kindly assembled it for me while I was out of town, and when I started using it I was frustrated by the fact that the lights were shining too much on my eyes, not enough at the top of the page. So I asked him if there was some further adjustment. It turned out he had installed it backwards and needed to re-assemble it so that the switch was on the right, not on the left. Now it shines on the page rather than in my eyes! Dinged it one star for problematic instructions.

This is a great product, I have few notes. I'm using this with a Yamaha P-525 and found that I needed to include a shim (I'm using a CD-ROM case) between the back of the clear plastic music stand that comes with the piano and this light's attachment mechanism. It just needs more material in order to grip properly. The light is even and wide and there's enough adjustment to get the light pointed correctly.

This did not fit my new piano as advertised. The vendor is charging me return shipping. The vendor should pay the return shipping charge.

Well constructed, elegant, slim design. Bright and dim controller is wonderful. Being able to adjust the light position is a plus.
